Bronco Billy
You all need to give poor Henry a break. It's a horrible curse to be the smartest guy in the room but not being able to let every else know that until after an event occurs because you have balls the size of gnats' eggs. smithkt
http://forums.thehuddle.com/index.php?show...t&p=2591911 It's week 1 and they are playing NE...it will get better but just don't expect a top 10 finish like this site predicted. You picked LJ where he should go...I took him a few leagues in round 3 as well. He will be a decent 2nd RB just not this week vs NE. Easy schedule overall for KC so he will be decent if he stays healthy....Parker more TD's today then all of last year. Looks to be a steal...got to love week 1 where everything becomes clearer...Maroney ? Why I draft him in a few leagues...that is the real quesiton. Henry Muto
http://sports.espn.go.com/fantasy/football...age=tmr080805rb LJ ranked 18th by the ESPN guru who I always disliked but he got this one right. Fanball is a pay site which I don't use but if you listen to their shows which the Huddle give you access they said stay far far away from him this year. I have several books and only 1 or 2 out of 9 books I have rank LJ in the top 10...most have him between 10 and 15. I even posted this BEFORE the season go look it up that he should not be ranked in the top 10...this isn't just me spouting off after the fact. And when I said he went in round 3 in some of my drafts you guys were like wow round 3 let me be in those leauges. Round 3 is where he deserved to go but he is playing like a round 10 pick right now. And to the above post...it is both. I said it will get better (It didn't week 2) but don't expect a top 10 finish. That is what I was saying since day 1 this site had him rated to high. Enjoy your day. Edited September 15, 2008 by Henry Muto

smithkt
OK, Henry how about this one. Where did you draft LJ in this one as your #1 RB? Every time I have posted a team the people here say I have had a bad draft everytime. Tell me this is a bad team. All TD's including passing are worth 6 to 14 pts (10 team leauge - TD heavey 90% TD 10% yardage milestones - 100 yrds = 1 pt every 25 yards +1 pt) TD heavy league - Distance TD league. 6 pts for 1-19 yrds TD's, 7 pts for 20-29 yrds, 8 pts for 30-39 yrds, ect to 90+ yard TD worth 14 pts. Starting Req - 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 DF, 1 Flex (RB, WR or TE) QB - Peyton Manning, Favre, Schaub RB - Larry Johnson, J-Stewart, Ronnie Brown, De-Williams, Ray Rice, A-Bradshaw, P-Thomas WR - Randy Moss, B-Marshall, S-Holmes, Wes Welker, D-Branch TE - Ben Watson, LJ Smith K - Gostkowski DF - Minnesota
smithkt
In the interest of fairness, here is the post where you questioned the ranking.... This site lists Larry Johnson at 7th overall in a PPR leauge.....I have been in several big money leageus and he goes anywhere from mid 2nd round to mid 3rd round in a 12 man PPR league. Larry Johnson has a lot of Shaun Alexander feel to him. Alexander was all world 2005 then in 2006 gets hurt and then in 2007 people still put their faith in him and took him in mid 1st round and he was as big bust ever seen.Larry had a huge year in 2006 then in 2007 struggles and then gets hurt and now in 2008 he has to play behind a horrible OL and play with horrid QB...why in the world is this site thinking he should be a mid 1st round pick ? Anyone please explain ? Anyone at all ?
smithkt
Then of course there is this one... I am in a slow draft and have to pick between Larry Johnson, Grant and McGahee for the 23rd overall pick. It seems like these players have fallen too far but maybe they are being passed up for a reason. PPR league. Who would you take ? Thanks. Thanks guys I did indeed go with Larry Johnson it was close call. I actally prefer going WR/WR in rounds 2/3 in a PPR league and seem to have bad luck in my leagues when I go a RB 2 out of the first 3 rounds. Last year in 3 leauges I went 2 RB's out of the 1st 3 picks and none of the 3 made the playoffs. Injuries are big part of the reason but that is the gamble you take when picking a RB. The teams I took 0 or 1 RB's in the 1st 3 picks made the playoffs with 8 out of 11 teams while 4 winning titles and the other 4 taking 2nd place. I took a WR in round 3 and now the draft will take a few days to get back to me for round 4 I figure.
