BOARHOGZ
So please excuse the posting if you were looking for Dallas/Philly scratch. We're heading to KC for the NO game in November. Last year we went to STL to see them play ARI and ate at Mike Shannons the night before. We sat one table over from Fitzgerald. This year I was hoping some KC homers might know where visiting teams stay and where they chow the night before the game. Thanks guys. Near downtown and the Plaza, which are both of KC's places to be right now. No idea where they would eat. If you need some more info on restaurants and places to go, let me know. Depending on when you get in may be able to meet you out for a beer. Edit to add: I could give you a list of places that would be candidates for where they might eat. One of them is the Capital Grille, which is a favorite of Carl Peterson when he entertains free agents, draft picks, etc. For dinner places the Plaza would probably be your best bet to catch players eating. BOARHOGZ
wow. Thanks Chief. I'll check those two places. I think we'll be getting there Sat late afternoon. Driving in from NW Arkansas. I'll post here as time gets closer and maybe take you up on that beer. That's why I love this site.

Dutch Oven
What CD and muck said, but some teams stay at the Hyatt Crowne Center. If they are not at one, they will be at the other, and two hotels are connected by an indoor walkway that is convenient so you don't have to go ouotside to get from one to the other. Also, last year the Chiefs stayed at the Hyatt as well. Where do you live in NWA? Edited September 16, 2008 by Dutch Oven
cre8tiff
The teams eat brunch early on Sunday at the Peppercorn Duck Club at the Hyatt. My wife worked as a chef there, and she cooked the brunch for those guys. I don't know if they are segregated from the other diners, though. Back in the mid 90's I was a chef apprentice at the Overland Park Marriott. The Packers stayed there and when we cooked for them it was a private banquet type thing. BOARHOGZ
So, am I right to say then: Westin Crown/Hyatt Crown (which are connected) and I think we'll hit the capital grille. I checked out the menu...hell already in the hole 200$ for tickets might as well get deeper. Thanks guys
