peepinmofo
I mentioned in another thread las years Buffalo-Dallas game. That was their first time in like 10 years on Monday night. Decimated by injuries, they put up a hell of a fight. Picked Romo 5 times, and made it a game until the very end. Lets hear everyone elses. MrTed46
The Jets came from behind to beat the Dolphins years ago. Was a gem.
Big John
1983 WAS at GB. Turned into a shootout with WAS being the defending SB champs, with Mosley missing a last-second FG to give GB a 48-47 win.
detlef
I recall a Jets v Pats game back in the late 70s that was epic. I was pretty young so I don't recall the specifics. But do recall that it just went back and forth. I will say though, last night was totally entertaining and right up there for me.
kpholmes
Favre torching the Raiders for 399 yards and 4TDs in 2003, the day after his dad died.
piratesownninjas
The miracle catch from Antonio Freeman to end the game with the Vikings is my favorite. The Jets Dolphins game that was mentioned above and the Bucs/Colts game from a few years ago ranks up there as well.
detlef
OK, now I'm remembering Monday Night heartbreaks. Fantasy Division: #1 all time: $2500 to the winner, $600 to 2nd place. Rams v Bucs. I'm trailing by 3 pts near the end of a back and forth game and Issac Bruce is hit between the numbers, in stride for what should at absolute least be a 40 yd catch, more likely, a 60 yd TD. He drops it. I lose. #2 of all time: Same league, same money split: I'm tied going into the finals with Ahman Green (who was absolutely huge for me all year) and he's got Favre. It's the game mentioned above where speculation is that Favre might not even play. Frankly, I was happy that he played as it would have been pretty crappy to win the league because some dude's father died. I recall that Green actually had a pretty decent game. Favre's, of course, was somewhat better than decent to say the least. If there was any silver lining it was that at least I didn't get strung along until the end. #3: Despite putting up insane numbers, my opponent does the same. Of course, the other semi-final is like 35-40 or some crap like that. I need Ricky Will to get shut down and he does until midway through the 3rd where he busts one long run to put him over the top. That ends up being it for him for the night and dude beats me by like a point. F'ing Joe Horn. Normal Gambling Division: Only 1 because I don't bet that often. Buddy goes to Vegas so I decide to send him with a 7-way parlay. It's suppose to pay something like $900 on $10 or so. Everything covers but I have Pitt -5 vs ATL on Monday Night. With 3 minutes to go, Pitts up by 13 and ATL drives down to score a TD. No biggie, Pitt is still up by 6 and there's barely more than a minute left. ATL kicks off and Pitt screws up the kick off so dude gets pinned around the 10. A few runs into the gut actually lose them a yard or two. Then, on 4th, Cower does the smart thing and takes the F'ING SAFETY!!!! Pitt wins by 4 pts. To this day, I remind myself that I didn't lose a grand on that game, I lost $10. BeeR
whippersnappers. Colts vs Pats 78 - Little Joe Washington. Great game, huge upset and best single-man MNF performance ever. I'd also say Colts vs TB and that comeback but I went to bed at half time.
