cre8tiff
OK, I know laverneus has been targeted more, but Chansi has snagged 6 of the 7 thrown to him? Doesn't Farve quickly gravitate toward that guy? Does NYJ run enough three receiver sets to make Chansi a viable 2 or 1?

ESPN sucks but I agree unless your in a 12 + league. I think Cotch and Favre had bad games

I think Cotch and Favre had bad games Yeah, I was thinking Cotch would be his primary target, but so far Coles has 10 targets, Cotch 8 and Chansi 7. Seems Coles is getting the looks, but still pretty close (not like freaking Marshall for sure).

I think the Pats were keyed in on Cotch and left Coles run his routes...it helps when Coles drops a few passes also. I expect Cotch to come back strong. Rovers
As it is with most Jet players, like the NFL, it's any given Sunday. Make no mistake, Stuckey is a good WR. In FF, he's a solid flex/bye week/ #4 WR. Jets WR's will likely take turns as to which one is hot in any given week. Until the Jets start to throw on first downs, which as a Jets fan I pray happens THIS week, the Jets have no true #2 FF WR.... until they open it up some more. Farve has too many targets to go to... T Jones, L Washington, Coles, Cotch, Stuckey and pick a TE... Franks, Baker or Keller, not to mention Brad Smith. It will get even worse when Clowney comes back. As a Jets fan, I say trade high, and it might even be too late for that. The defense is much improved, and I expect to see the under much more often than the over winning money on Jets games. CaptainHook
Stuckey's week one TD was a fourth down prayer that Favre just chucked up for grabs.
dirtdickens
I picked him up and dropped Porter. More fo a bye week filler, but the guy has two TDs and catches better than my other Jet, Cotchery. I always felt like Favre favored one WR over the others, you guys dont agree? Good info here... a Jet fan buddy of mine who I trust 100% was really high on Stuckey when he was drafted. And you're right, lots of cooks in that kitchen. Rovers
Good info here... a Jet fan buddy of mine who I trust 100% was really high on Stuckey when he was drafted. And you're right, lots of cooks in that kitchen. I saw Stuckey at camp last year. The kid was REALLY good. He dropped in the draft due to an ankle injury his senior year that he consequently re-injured last year in TC, but he was making plays all over the place. He went IR last year. Scarfed him up in any Dynasty league I could. He looked like Coles eventual replacement... but then flashback... Clowney did the same thing THIS year in TC and preseason! Then HE got hurt... but will return in about 2 weeks or so, after the bye. I wasn't high on Stuckey until I saw him at Jets TC in 2007... then I was a believer. He is a lot like Sanatana Moss, in every respect, but MUCH tougher... will take a hit, stay in bounds, go over the middle. If the Jets want to win, they have to "Trust in Favre".... and so far, they don't. Thomas Jones, three times up the middle inside the five.... and a FG. VERY few passes on 1st down. They got Favre for a reason... and running up the gut wasn't what I expected, but so far, there it is. Then, and I like the analogy Darin, too many cooks in the kitchen, and the head chef is out yakkin with the customers. I might say too many chickens in the coop, with a rooster that the farmer won't allow out.... not gonna get many eggs that way.

More fo a bye week filler, but the guy has two TDs and catches better than my other Jet, Cotchery. I always felt like Favre favored one WR over the others, you guys dont agree? I do a little but more often he'll spread the ball to 7 or 8 players(RB's, WR's and TE's). He'll throw to whoever is open but will stop(for awhile) if you drop the ball. He's all about production. If you keep making plays he will favor you. He'll even throw your way if you are double covered.

More fo a bye week filler, but the guy has two TDs and catches better than my other Jet, Cotchery. I always felt like Favre favored one WR over the others, you guys dont agree? I think he just has a better sense of when to throw the ball to that particular player... either that or he realizes where the serious mismatch is.....but right now he needs more reps with Cotchery...let alone Coles before he can really start getting comfortable.. If when week 5 hits and Favre is still under-performing, that might be a good time to start studying his schedule to see if he might be a good "buy low" candidate for the rest of the season.....he does have some nice matchups, starting with week 6... chodan
Jets should be 0-2 if it wasnt for wild 4th down toss up. Only good thing about the jets is their Run Def.

LMAO.... and having no FG kicker had nothing to do with the Miami game? Get a clue. With a healthy kicker, they get the FG Nugent got hurt on, and get another FG on the Stuckey TD. Both chip shots. That is 6 points. Do the math. If you can.
Chadman
How surprising. Favre took a chance and just "winged one" long downfield to try to make something happen? Yeah, I doubt THAT will ever happen again... I'd say the guy has a chance if he is able to give Favre an out from time to time, and if he is all he's reportedly cracked up to be, that might be worthy of a play in a pinch. I'd think we'd start to see some trends before long in who Favre will go to in situations, once they all get more time together.
