Week 3 random observations

The NFC East is playing some good football right now ... looks to me like the Superbowl winner will come out of this division (go Cowboys).

The Giants dodged a bullet from Cincy this weekend as they apparently didn't expect Cincy to try to win the game.

Apparently some coaches prefer not to kick field goals.

The Dallas offense might be the most loaded offense in the league with Romo, Barber, Felix Jones, Owens, Witten and .... Miles Austin?

Aaron Rodgers sure looks like the real deal ... I don't think they are going to be missing Favre in Green Bay any time soon.

Maybe I didn't give Philadelphia's defense enough credit ... 6 sacks on Roth IN ONE QUARTER

It sure looks like New England's success has had more to do with Brady than Belicheck. As a Randy Moss owner this really bums me out.

St. Louis and Kansas City are really really really bad football teams.

NFL referees are taking some heat for blown calls this year despite the fact that they are human and make mistakes like everybody else, including NFL coaches and NFL players. Clearly they need to figure out how to blow their calls EARLY in the game instead of LATE in the game so they don't get erroneously blamed for changing the out come of a game.

Michael Turner looks like he is the real deal ... wish I had drafted him. I don't think Atlanta will be missing Vick any time soon.

Six direct snaps to Ronnie Brown? Whats up with that? Did Miami see something in NE's defensive scheme that everybody else has missed? And why the hell couldn't NE defend those?

It looks like the Derek Anderson era may be coming to an end. Maybe he should open up a bar some where with Scott Mitchell.

Why is it so hard to manage the clock when there are two minutes or less left in the game?

Looks like it might be a long year for the owners of the 1st two draft picks in most leagues as LT and AP are already struggling through injuries.

Maybe Housh won't be such a bad player this year. Maybe Ocho Cinco should change his name back.

For being 3-0 Buffalo and Tennessee seem to be flying under the radar.

Man Cutler, Brandon Marshall and the rookie Royal look like the real deal too. So much for the Shanahan running game.
