Oh, and  at all the morans over at your site. Apparently most of them, like you, they don't understand football enough to know that a D player can encroach upon the LoS as long as they get back before the ball is snapped.

Maybe you should rename the site "Nancies R Us".

Not to stereotype everyone in Denver, but I was at the game Sunday and I must say the Denver fan football IQ in my section was pretty low.

Gotta love the idiots who talk a bunch of trash after barely winning a game at home that they were supposed to win. I'd say after the last couple of weeks, If I was a Denver fan I'd be grateful, not gloating.

PS: By no means am I going to use the non-call as an excuse as to why we didn't win that game. We had our shots to win and we didn't execute. Plain and simple.

No, key words, "before the ball is snapped". Your "evidence" clearly shows a D lineman encroaching upon the LoS, but it also clearly shows that the Center has not put the ball in play yet. In essence, you proved absolutely nothing with your incredibly brilliant snapshot.

I know this is difficult for you to understand, so I'm typing this very slowly.

Nor was it my intention to use the non-call as why we didn't win. I just want too bring to lite the non-calls that have been going in the Broncos favor these pass 2 weeks.

You would figure after last week, the officating would be on their toes, but obviously not.

Well, we Rocky Mountain knuckledraggers try to do the best we can to understand the game. We can share some football experiences that might be completely foreign to Saints' fans, though. Things like winning a Super Bowl, or even going to a Super Bowl.

Right, becuase there have never been missed calls ever before this year... especially not in the Saints favor.

If the Broncos did not have the officials in their pockets your team would be 1-2 right now.

Giving up 505 yards to the Saints....you won't win many games that way....

Sorry neilfish, but this is really kind of a silly argument. The Broncos don't have the "officials in their pockets." They've just gotten a couple of lucky breaks on two plays. It happens probably every game for every team, but the only time anyone takes notice is when it could have helped their team win.

Too bad your HC couldn't figure out the right K to keep on your team. You might have won that game.

Please don't tell me you're talking about Mehlhaff, if so you must not have been paying much attention to how well he played in preseason.

You get that with any NFL team, I've heard some real idiot Saints fans as well. Just look on any NFL team forum & you won't have to look long to find them, but I completely agree about the reason we lost. Our O-Line didn't do their job & personally I think after we were stuffed at the goal line that they should have tried something a bit different than running it up the middle.

You're a smart guy, you should see the play before you make statements like this. He was clearly over the line, but he wasn't even the guy who stopped PT so it's not like it made a big difference in the play. I think the loss was more due to a couple of bad play calls in tight situations & even moreso poor execution from our O-line.

This is idiotic.

There were missed calls both ways in that game. This wasn't the one that even mattered the most.

I distinctly remembered thinking "Well, I guess the refs are giving back some calls from last week" as they constantly went in New Orleans favor. We overcame that and won and this is the BS people want to call attention to? A non-call?

Have to agree here, there was holding on that run play! Worst refs ever!

Payton - "His time will come"

I've just heard this as well from a buddy within the Saints org...

Payton said that they put in the game plan on Tuesday and determine personnel groupings. It was determined that PT was the main short yardage back. He said he didn’t want to put deuce in for a critical play when he hadn’t practiced it.

If I'm not mistaken - and I'm not - I'm not the one making the statements of refs cheating and then submitting a photo that shows absolutely no evidence one way or the other in support of the argument. I'm just going by what he's providing as proof.

Using the officials as the reason your team lost is extremely weak.

Holy Crap! Did you see all the illegal blocks in the back on that Saints' punt return? And the holding on a couple of Saints' running plays? NO never should have been in a position to win that game! DEN got screwed and only Gramatica's weakass leg provided justice for DEN.

Oh, and on the play he's whining about? The DEN player had his foot on the LoS and had absolutely no role in the play whatsoever. as using that as such a sorry excuse for his team's lousy performance. Hell, the Saints' D is even worse than DEN's.

Tough to argue anyone is worse than DEN right now, BB. They're giving up 35 ppg at home.
