Someone
Most people had R. Moss, Owens, Wayne, A. Johnson, and B. Edwards at the top of their draft board at WR. Most of these guys have been a real let down. Owens and Wayne are doing pretty well, but the other 3? Unless you got Owens or Wayne, drafting a top WR, just hasn't paid off so far. dominatorr
you could maybe say that about the qb's and rb's too seems like every year at least 1/3 and probably half of the top 20 turn out to be relative busts every year Edited September 23, 2008 by dominatorr
Hat Trick
Edwards is frustrating me the most cause I dont seem to have any of those other guys.
detlef
Well, Johnson has played 2 games and had catches for 112 yards in one of them. I would have to say the jury might be out on that one, though there's certainly cause for concern based on last week. As you mentioned TO and Wayne are delivering. They're not top 5 right now but the season is young. That leaves Moss and Edwards. I can assure you that Moss would not have gone that high if we knew that Brady would go down week one. So, basically you have Edwards, which means 1 of 5 who's looking like a really bad pick.
jetsfan
My 1st three picks were Moss, TO and Colston. Needless to say I am 0-
Avernus
luckily I drafted R Moss and B Marshall as my 1-2 punch and then traded R Moss before week 1....
Grant37
I am glad I passed on Moss and went with Lynch! At the time it was an excruciating decision haha.
Randall
Top players for me were Wayne, Brandon Marshall and Steve Smith. The suspensions just made them bigger bargains.
MTSuper7
Houston's first few games are brutal, but they have a few nice matchups at home coming up, so I think Andre Johnson will be just fine. Also, it's nice to know that Sage Rosenfels is a capable backup just in case Schaub gets hurt or gets yanked for sucking a$$.
WaterMan
Alot of WRs are doing better than LT, Stephen Jackson, and LJ.
MrTed46
Alot of WRs are doing better than LT, Stephen Jackson, and LJ. Not B Edwards
BeeR
I know he's been scoring and so FF pts-wise was doing fine till this past week, but Owens has ten catches in THREE games. Whether it's teams keying on him or him not getting seperation like he used to, it has to be at least somewhat of a concern. In fact, only Fitz of the top 5/6 or so (I had him 4th behind Moss, Owens and Wayne) is producing as expected, surrounded mostly by guys you could have got for a song in the draft (eg Jennings, S Moss). But yeah it is still early and things will shift. At this point though it's anyone's guess which way and with who..
IrishPride
Had the Chance to go WR,WR drafting 9th but a wise man once said.....Past article (DMD) about drafting......I went RB,WR,RB,RB,WR and wound up with Barber,Wayne,Reggie Bush,M.Turner...........As much as Owens/Wayne tandem seems unstoppable........Balance is better. Slugs
I ended up with M. Colston (don't forget him so far), Gregg Jennings & Santana Moss. Not to bad with two that can play.
MothAudio
Owens in the 2nd. Witten in the 3rd. Marshall in the 5th. Cavlin Johnson in the 6th. I'm doing fine.

jaxfactor
I am glad I passed on Moss and went with Lynch! At the time it was an excruciating decision haha. On the flip side, I decided on Moss early with the #6 pick letting Lynch, Gore, and MBIII pass me by. That's what I get for taking a swing for the fence. A big hugh whiff...so far
euphy
My top 3 WRz were... Fitz, Colston, Bowe (but I could have had Marshall, suspension scared me), and Chris Henry in the 15th round!!!!
MothAudio
Calvin in the 6th is absurd.... My bad... I got him in the 7th round. What can I say, I play with a bunch of morons in my office league.
