b4scotty
I thought this guy was suppose to be good? Why hasn't he done squat? Anyone know? "Elvis Dumervil"
Bronco Billy
Other teams figured out that he's the only Bronco D-lineman capable of generating a pass rush. They use 2 players to negate him and can have all day to throw the ball. It wasn't too difficult to see this coming. If DEN ever decides to draft a legit DE who can get upfield AND play the run, Dumerville's stock will rise again. Until then, don't count on too much. We've seen the same thing with another undersized pass rusher in Dwight Freeney.
keggerz
Hey BB care to elaborate on the 3-4 that the broncos used this past weekend?
Bronco Billy
Hey BB care to elaborate on the 3-4 that the broncos used this past weekend? I think they had some guys unknowingly out of position and ran it by accident... Seriously, they are toying with the idea. Looks like Winborn gets some time in the D. Tford
Looks like the ILBs were Webster and Williams whereas Bailey and Winborn played OLBs. Puzzling why they tried it out. They really don't have the players up front and on the edge for the scheme, save a select few. Robertson couldn't hack it as a 3-4 nose in NY, why would he be decent now? Keeping my response ontopic; look for Elvis' numbers to drop even farther if the Broncos throw in more 3-4 looks. The guy is just too small for the 3-4 line. Bronco Billy
Crowder could be an ideal 3-4 DE. The rest of the DEs are too light to play in a 3-4, and Moss would be an absolute bust in that D. I would love to see Larsen moved into the middle & move Williams to the outside - the thought of Williams attacking on the edge of a 3-4 brings up some very scary thoughts. Man, the hit Larsen put on a Saints KR this weekend was a thing of beauty (if you can find beauty in dismemberment).
