nuke'em ttg
I love coffee but in the summer i taper off after my morning jolt.......stopped in a coffee joint this summer and the dude in front of me ordered an iced latte.....I've been hooked ever since .......a co-worker of mine that works at Walgreens part-time brought me a Cold Monster Energy Mean-Bean Tall Boy Anybody else hooked
policyvote
Well I've been hooked on the Rockstar energy drinks for quite a while . . . normally I prefer the Guava flavor of the 'Juiced' variant, but lately I've been trying their 'Roasted' variants. It scratches both the itch for a jolt and the itch for specialty coffee, though the first much more so than the second. What I really want is a cold-brew coffee maker, where it's brewed cold and doesn't need any ice? Peace policy
SheikYerbuti
Iced Coffee > Hot Coffee
detlef
I like coffee at all temps. One of my favorites is to get a double espresso and just hit it with some cold half and half. Doesn't make it iced but very slammable. In general, however, I don't like iced espresso based drinks and like my iced coffee made with coffee that was chilled first (if even by adding the milk to it first). Otherwise, it get diluted. Basically, I like coffee.

Basically, I like coffee. And while we're on the subject, here's another thing I've always noticed. If you're going to get iced coffee, you gotta go to a place that makes it. That is, not a place that just takes hot coffee and pours it over ice. First of all, as Det says, this dilutes the coffee. But most importantly, they always pour it over the ice and then add sugar. Now that the coffee is cold, the sugar doesn't dissolve and you get unsweetened coffee on top and sugar granules at the bottom. Weak sauce. Rebellab
In the summer, the gas station that I frequent keeps a full pot off the burner for guys like me. I get a twenty ounce cup fill it with ice and pour away. Hits the spot and picks you right up.

The general opinion is that they make weak coffee, which would not work well for me. The Toddy I think was the name.
