cliaz
It's that kind of forward thinking that has kept Phillips at the cutting edge of NFL coaches I guess the whole Rob Johnson thing has been forgotten.

i_am_the_swammi
I love the "rest of the season projections".. Romo #1 QB...Barber #1 RB.. Barber I can live with. Romo? Do they think he magically is going to stop throwing picks and fumbling the ball? I will bet anything that he isn' the #1 FF QB from Week 4 thru Week 17....he likely won't even be Top-3, based on performance thus far. Felix could be the man before the playoffs.

If/when Barber gets hurt, I could see Tashard Choice getting a good number of carries.

In our league we penalize int's & fumbles and he had 19 Int's & 2 lost fumbles last year and still finished second to Brady for QB's. Now this year there is no Brady. In our league we penalize int's & fumbles and he had 19 Int's & 2 lost fumbles last year and still finished second to Brady for QB's. Now this year there is no Brady. But this year there is a Cutler, Rivers, Warner Brees & Mcnabb playing at very high levels. And last year, the Cowboys didn't run the ball effectively with Jones the 1st 3 quarters they way they do this year with Barber. That shortens the game, lengthens drives, and gives Romo less possessions. At 3-0, the Cowboys are playing great football, with a nicely balanced offense. That being said, Romo is the 8th best fantasy QB right now. I see that continuing, maybe improving somewhat if they into the occasional shootout. But I see their current offenseive gameplan as their perfect world, and it not changing much going forward.

Yeah but that current off game plan has led to nearly 300 yds & 2 TD's per game through 3 games. Those kind of stats do not exactly remove a guy from consideration when trying to project the Top fantasy QB for the season. Like I said I just don't think projecting Romo to be the #1 QB for the rest of the season is a stretch.

Avernus
interesting how the Romo/Barber bashers are from Philly so Romo and barber are #1 in their positions for the rest of the season?.... Barber ...as swammi said...is fine...but Romo is not #1...
Wolv
Leave it to a Skins fan to start such a topic Dallas runs an aggressive passing offense. With the personnel they got, this makes Romo a top 3 QB by seasons end
Hugh 0ne
If/when Barber gets hurt, I could see Tashard Choice getting a good number of carries. Jones, in limited action has already looked like an absolute stud, they're working him into the playbook more and more. He will be the clear cut feature back in this offense if Barber goes down. Granted, Choice may go from zero carries to 3 or 4 carries, but I wouldn't call that a good number of carries. And before you get your panties in a bunch, I only used the graemlin because you use it all the time when people disagree with you.
