Grits and Shins
It would be chicken manure of the Giants to back down.
SheikYerbuti
I never thought he was going to miss a game after what was reported to be the problem... Reported by who? 2 people called into the Max Kellerman show in the last few days saying they saw Plax, Ahmad Bradshaw, Jerome Bettis and Mo Vaughn out clubbing and getting hammered late Sunday night. I'm inclined to believe them over Plax's story.
BeeR
I'm not. Burress is a moron of course, but there are more than a few out there among sports fans too. Basically I'm not inclined to believe much of anything other than he didn't show and didn't bother to call. Sorry but even if there was a legit crisis of some kind, I don't buy he couldn't and shouldn't have called at some point.

I'm inclined to believe them over Plax's story. I expect Plax's "story" is largely irrelevant because I suspect whatever his reason is for his absence it wasn't so dire that he could not call his boss to explain that he wouldn't be showing up for his job. I am hearing that his brand new contract has some language directly around this type of behavior and if that is the case I simply don't see how Plax, his lawyers or his agent have a leg to stand on. gilthorp
And maybe Plax does miss a game?
