Chief Dick
I think Gonzalez is a great play this week. He is about 50 yards or so from breaking Shannon Sharpes record, and the Chiefs would like nothing more than to do it at home against the Broncos. That and Huard really looks toward him anyway. I expect a big day from him.

splotchman
Think Bowe and Gonzo have solid days since KC will be playing from behind. Glad Huard is back vs. PigPen!
hooknladder
i'm sure that's exactly what Gonzo would like to do, with all the recent chatter regarding a trade.
Big Score 1
Methinks Gonzo is gonna have Chump Bailey in his hip pocket all day long & with Croyle passing the ball, I think it'll be a quiet day for Tony.

Up Date: Methinks Gonzo is gonna have Chump Bailey in his hip pocket all day long & with Croyle Huard passing the ball, I think it'll be a quiet day for Tony. Methinks that what was shown above were LAST years numbers. Not THIS years numbers. In other words, that was then & this is now. THIS years Huard to Gonzo numbers; Week 1 KC @ N.E. Broyle started - Gonzo receptions 5 - 48 Huard finsihed - Gonzo receptions 1 - 7 Week 2 Oak @ KC Huard started - Gonzo receptions - 1 -12 Thigpen finished - Gonzo receptions - 5 - 27 + 1 TD

While history probably shows this to be true whenver KC plays Denver. That was then, this is now. So far this year, Denver hasn't shown the ability to stop anyone. Big Score 1
So far this year, Denver hasn't shown the ability to stop anyone. True, the DENVER D hasn't exactly set the world on fire (understatement), however, I think Bailey has been holding up his end. A Gonzo & Chump match up has always been a good sub plot to any Chef - Donkey game, with Chump usually, but not always, getting the better end of it. Plus, with Chump on Gonzo & an emerging Bowe, I think Huard will end up favoring Bowe, target wise. Don't get me wrong now, Gonzo is still gonna be part of the game plan, but expecting an 8 for 100+ & a TD or two - or something like that, is asking for too much IMO. I see more of a 4 for 50 kind of day for the Gonzo. But hey, that's just me. You guys who think he'll blow up, more power to you & I hope for the sakes of anyone playing him, that ya'll are right & I'm wrong.

I just said i feel better with Huard at QB and he will do better. I also have Bowe so if tehy go that way I'm fine with that too

I think Champ Baily is going to be locked up on Dwayne Bowe... He's pretty good himself. I think 5-75-1 isn't too far out there. Oh, and I'm ecstatic to have just traded for Gonzo this past week with the guy I'm playing against this week.

Oh, and I'm ecstatic to have just traded for Gonzo this past week with the guy I'm playing against this week. Before last year, the Broncos used Bailey on Gonzalez. Bailey is not the prototypical corner... (rather, he's a lot more physical and able to hang with the TE) ... with the emergence of Bowe, they will likely slide him over to take the "normal" CB slot. I can see Gonzo catching a few balls this week. I'll say 6 for 70 with a score.

And you don't have Gonzo catching a td.

Big Score 1
There's the Gonzo TD. Now for the bad news.... Last Play: 2-7-DEN 10(12:46) D.Huard pass short right to T.Gonzalez for 10 yards, TOUCHDOWN. KC-T.Gonzalez was injured during the play. Depending on Gonzo's injury, 2 - 24 - TD might be all for today.
