Chamber injury

The latest I could find is in this article from yesterday evening. Just have to wait and see what comes out as the week goes.

Hurting homecoming

With Tomlinson and Gates hurting, it is certainly not good news that Chris Chambers, the Chargers' leader with five touchdowns, suffered an ankle sprain on the final play of the fourth quarter.

Trying to battle into the end zone for what would have been his second score of the game, Chambers had his leg rolled over.

He was gone from the locker room after the game, his first against the team with which he spent his first six-plus seasons before being traded to San Diego last October.

MFL shows him as Doubtful. I can't imagine that he'll be terribly effective if he does play. I'd look at other options if I could.

Most recent update, per Fanball today:

Chambers practices Wednesday 10/22, 12:26 PM CT

Chris Chambers has returned to practice Wednesday after missing two games with an ankle injury, according to ProFootballTalk.com.

Our View: He participated on a limited basis and his status for Week 8 at New Orleans is yet to be determined. He only has 11 receptions this season, but is averaging 20.5 yards, and scored five touchdowns.
