Footballjoe
I have seen a few comments about this. Whats the word out there? Who benefits and who gets hurt?
Tford
Winborn likely gains the most since he is promotoed from 1st backup LB off the bench to a starter. I had odds that Elvis Dumervil would fall off the map even moreso than before since he is much too small on paper to play 3-4 DE. But then he goes and gets his first sack last week. Didn't catch whether Denver was in the 3-4 when it happened though. As Bronco Billy mentioned in another previous thread, Jarvis Moss is built to play 3-4 OLB but whether he makes the transition or not remains to be seen. Tim Crowder likely falls further into obscurity as I don't see his place in this 3-4 defense. Mind you, I didn't see his place in the 4-3 defense as well. Jury's out on Boss Bailey as far as I'm concerned as well. My gut says he won't hold up as a 3-4 OLB unless Shanahan limits his pass rushes. Footballjoe
What about Niko Koutivides? Is he fodder?
Tford
Not rosterable in my opinion. Webster and DJ seemed to play full time last week.
darin3
Not rosterable in my opinion. Webster and DJ seemed to play full time last week. Yup ... Webster, Bailey and Winborn have been serviceable fantasy-wise this season, each playing at 75%, essentially... D.J. Williams has been a beast... I think this might dip Williams' value a bit, but will give some consistency to Bailey, Webster and Winborn. Kind of frustrating, actually. The DL, already rather weak as it is, probably dips even further.
