d3m
Was he playing? Is he hurt? No updates I can find on him, I am assuming it was mostly because Seahawks blew a big fat one yesterday. I saw alot of teams dropped him...
Seahawks21
I saw this one coming. Matt Hasselbeck historically doesn't throw to the TE very much. He threw to Carlson out of necessity, but now that he has his boys back, Carlson is literally an afterthought. I think Holmgren and Haskell will come up with some plays to feature him on the horizon, but he isn't going to be a part Hasselbeck's normal progression. I would bet he'll get a touchdown here or there, and have a couple decent games, very similar to the stats Jerramy Stevens used to put up here his last few years. piratesownninjas
very similar to the stats Jerramy Stevens used to put up here his last few years. Everytime I watched them play Stevens stats or lack there of seemed to be more because of his ability to drop anything that he could get his hands on. After so many drops, you're obviously going to lose faith in a guy. Carlson is far better than Stevens and I think we will see him produce decent numbers this year... As far as this past week, Hass was rocked all game, and the offense was put into a one deminsional mode on a day where nothing went right. Carlson might not be a stud, but I don't think you can look as that gay as an indicator of what Carlson will do.
Rovers
After the top 5 or so, TE's are inconsistant. Cooley blew up this week, but before that he was spotty at best. I think Carlson is a top 15, and this is only his rookie year. If Holmgren and Hass trust him, he'll get his targets... and I think they trust him. Largent80
Just heard that Branch is out indefinitely with the foot injury. Carlson will get more looks but not as much as before because of Engram. I would just avoid all things Seattle for passing stats unless they play the Rams. I think Carlson will be a future TE option, but NOT this year.
