Housh to be traded?

They wouldn't trade the malcontent loud mouth who has thrown everyone possible under the bus, they went as far as turning down 2 first rounders from Washington, but they'd be willing to trade off the blue collar receiver who hasn't had a drop off in production and keeps on producing? As far fetched as it sounds, it just may be what the Bengals do. Still, I don't see any way this rumor is anything more than just a rumor.

Anybody else think that they DO need to get rid of either Chad or T.J.? I just get the feeling they aren't good for each other, like they've been around each other too long. They have been teammates since college. I think they feed off each others negativity.

Trade him for Roy

Don't know how to link to this since i got it in an email but CBS just sent me this update.

CBSSports.com Fantasy Football Notification

------------------------------------------------------------

* Roy Williams linked in trade report

The Dayton Daily News had a report that a league source said

the 49ers have expressed some interest in acquiring Bengals

WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh before the Week 7 trade deadline. The

report added that Roy Williams is also allegedly on the

49ers' radar. Williams has familiarity with Mike Martz's

offensive system and could seemingly adapt to the system

quickly. Both players are scheduled to be free agents after

the season.

In San Francisco, Williams would likely post slightly better

stats than we've seen from him so far this season since the

offense there is better than the offense in Detroit. Before

any deal for Williams would happen, the team getting him

would likely want a long-term contract in place first.

Unlike Major League Baseball and the NBA, trade-deadline

deals don't happen much in the NFL, so a deal involving a

player of this magnitude would be a surprise. We'll keep our

ears pressed to the ground, but for now figure that Williams

is a decent No. 2 WR worth using when he plays at Minnesota

in Week 6.
