ts
LOL ... just enough production for Davis owners to keep starting him while he vanishes again for the next 5 weeks? Still - enjoy it while you can.

MERLINS
I know, I have started him for all of last season and first 5 weeks this year. I finally gave up on him and started Todd (invisible) Heap and VD finally is factored into the gameplan! HOpefully sign of things to come, they have to get the ball in his hands every week. rajncajn
Just dropped him in one league & sat him in another. I doubt you will see this week in & week out.
rattsass
Just dropped him in one league & sat him in another. I doubt you will see this week in & week out. I dropped him last week also. That is all you are seeing is the all too predictable immediate bounce from a player that I dropped. Some other poor wretch will pick him up next week and it will be back to business as usual. kpholmes
I don't know why the offensive guru can't factor him into their game plan... seeing as how he is probably one of the more talented receivers on that team. Probably faster than most as well. Sad to me that SF comes out singleback, four wide and none of the four are VD. Someone needs to smack Martz. It doesn't really surprise me though as Martz has never used his TE in the first place.
kingfish247
I don't know why the offensive guru can't factor him into their game plan... No consolation but Davis is a devastating blocker. Nolan made a comment recently to that affect while also saying Davis needs to improve his route running. I call BS on that considering Nolan is trying to keep his job and the Niners OL is a patchwork quilt of yarn and paper mache, at best. This isn't the first time I've heard about Davis's route running. Merril Hodge said in the preseason that Davis's route running is some of the poorest in the league. He said that he rounds off his routes very badly, but if he ever became a decent to great route runner he would be dominate
