jordanzs
I vote for this guy in one of my leagues. Wasn't even an autodraft, and he's not a league deadbeat, he's one of our most "motivated" managers: 1. (11) Tony Romo 2. (14) Laurence Maroney 3. (35) Wes Welker 4. (38) Willis McGahee 5. (59) Tony Gonzalez 6. (62) Minnesota 7. (83) Joey Galloway 8. (86) Reggie Brown 9. (107) Kurt Warner 10. (110) Bryant Johnson 11. (131) Stephen Gostkowski 12. (134) Colt Brennan 13. (155) DeMeco Ryans 14. (158) Sean Jones 15. (179) Jerome Felton 16. (182) Antwaan Randle El 17. (203) Kevin Walter 18. (206) Jerious Norwood 19. (227) Lofa Tatupu To add insult to injury, he dropped Kurt Warner after the 2nd week of the season, and he dropped Minny's D a couple of weeks ago. michaelman
if Braylon edwards scores less than 15.6 points tonight (0.5 ppr, 10yd/1pt, 6 pt/td) then I will be 4-2. Brees has been HUGE for me. Edited October 13, 2008 by michaelman

detlef
Top this one. Needless to say, dude is 0-6. Unlike "bad drafts" that are simply just bad because Brady got hurt, this guy just flat out swung and missed pretty damned often. The fact that LT is merely mortal doesn't help. 1.01 1. cdrudge
9- Moss........... Brady out12- Owens........Romo out Is that the 9th and 12th overall picks, or 9th and 12th round? CrazyOne
My own really couldn't have been that good, given that I've dropped or traded more than half my players over the 6 weeks. But this one, really, for what it should have been in pre-season vs what it turned out to be until maybe this week, in our 10-team $100 TE-required league: 1.01 Tomlinson, Ladainian SDC RB 2.10 Grant, Ryan GBP RB 3.01 Edwards, Braylon CLE WR 4.10 Roethlisberger, Ben PIT QB 5.01 McFadden, Darren OAK RB ® 6.10 Gonzalez, Tony KCC TE 7.01 Williams, Roy DET WR 8.10 Cowboys, Dallas DAL Def 9.01 Kaeding, Nate SDC PK 10.10 Schaub, Matt HOU QB 11.01 Gonzalez, Anthony IND WR 12.10 Engram, Bobby SEA WR 13.01 Scheffler, Tony DEN TE 14.10 Gage, Justin TEN WR They actually managed to win this week, with Schaub's big performance. Edwards was still on the bench (and the guys who run this team are in Cleveland!). So they are 2-4, due mainly to some other low-scoring teams in any given week (they beat one of those early on, no team went 0-3 in our league), but they have the lowest YTD point total by almost 100 point margin behind the next lowest (and 240 below the top team). They haven't changed much, picked up Eddie Royal after that first week and Lance Moore and Steve Breaston dropping Williams, Engram and Gage in those processes. Could still be fine the rest of the year, but through 5 weeks it looked really horrible, those first 3 picks. Interesting that it has 3 high picks in common with the team above. So here's my draft, since I admitted it wasn't so hot: 1.06 Lynch, Marshawn BUF RB 2.05 Wayne, Reggie IND WR 3.06 Bush, Reggie NOS RB 4.05 Holt, Torry STL WR 5.06 Winslow, Kellen CLE TE 6.05 Anderson, Derek CLE QB 7.06 Chargers, San Diego SDC Def 8.05 White, LenDale TEN RB 9.06 Chambers, Chris SDC WR 10.05 Williams, DeAngelo CAR RB 11.06 Kitna, Jon DET QB 12.05 Mason, Derrick BAL WR 13.06 Crosby, Mason GBP PK 14.05 Williams, Reggie JAC WR I've proven before I can do well from the middle of the draft, even winning the league Super Bowl and putting up 3 straight seasons of highest total points. But this doesn't look like it, does it? Of those guys I only still have Lynch, Wayne, Winslow and Chambers. That's it. Oh, I have DeAngelo Williams again. I had dropped him but picked him back up. No, I don't have Bush. I traded him. The guy who has him now was a little dismayed when he had to be reminded that the special teams TDs don't go to the individual in our league. ;-) Somehow I am 3-3. 3 teams are at 2-4, 5 at 3-3 and one each at 4-2 and 5-1. The tight roster limits make it tough, and it's made even tougher by the required minimum of keeping 2QB, 3RB and 4WR (and 1 ea TE, K, DEF), even though we only start 1, 2 and 2 respectively. Only 2 roster spots are not defined by position. Can be somewhat painful managing bye weeks. Edited October 14, 2008 by CrazyOne

jordanzs
Oh yeah, a little sidenote from start of this topic...... The manager above had the 11th pick (12 team league). I had the 12th pick, so I drafted right after and before him (snake draft). Here's my results: 1. (12) Marion Barber RB 2. (13) Drew Brees QB 3. (36) Brandon Jacobs RB 4. (37) Calvin Johnson WR 5. (60) Donald Driver WR 6. (61) Chris Cooley TE 7. (84) Matt Forte RB 8. (85) Eli Manning QB 9. (108) Patrick Willis DL 10. (109) LenDale White RB 11. (132) Ted Ginn Jr. WR 12. (133) DeSean Jackson WR 13. (156) Felix Jones RB 14. (157) Philadelphia DEF 15. (180) Marcus Trufant DB 16. (181) London Fletcher DL 17. (204) Eddie Royal WR 18. (205) Mason Crosby K 19. (228) Carolina DEF My team has changed just a little bit, got Berrian & L Coles instead of Ginn & White, Minny D instead of Carolina, and Bironas now, but the newcleus of the team is still there. Barely leading the league in points & trying hard to deal Manning for a decent WR.
SheikYerbuti
This team is 2-4, probably because he "oops'ed" his way into Slaton in the 16th round. This is a $300 league. 1.10 Randy Moss 2.1 Terrell Owens 3.10 Edge 4.1 Jason Witten 5.10 Rudi Johnson 6.1 Julius Jones 7.10 Vincent Jackson 8.1 Patrick Crayton 9.10 Bernard Berrian 10.1 Matt Hasselbeck 11.10 Deuce McAllister 12.1 Marcell Shipp 13.10 Chester Taylor 14.1 Correll Buckhalter 15.10 Nate Kaeding 16.1 Steve Slaton 17.10 Broncos
