At the moment all that is known is that he won't be playing next week.

Mike and Mike had Chris Mort on this AM, talking about all the dinged QBs, and he said the only reason Hass is definitely ruled "OUT" this week is the cross-country plane trip...had it been a home game, he likely would have been a GTD. He said the word he is getting is that with another week to calm down the sciatic nerve (which is affecting his strength in his right knee), Hass should be OK come Week 8.

He hasn't been OK for awhile now.

But you are probably right...he will play week 8 though I have no reason why they don't just let him heal all the way in what has become a lost season for this lame-duck team. Just play it out and get a really great pick position for next year.

with a sciatic nerve problem...I think Matt will be a GTD each week now. He may play some but a bulging disk is a problem. You can get injections up to 3, but if that doesn't do the trick...he will be suffering with back issues for the remainder of his career. Look for Seattle to pick a QB in next seasons draft...I hate to say it but Matt is not long for the league after this season. He will be sporadic just like Garcia.
