Pope Flick
Lasagna is the universal here, and I'm guessing it has everything to do with the spices hanging out for an extra day. It ALWAYS better teh day after, instead of the day of.
Cameltosis
I am not sure if I should start a new thread or just hijack this one? Well I have already written a whole sentence so I might as well hijack. Do you prefer to reheat food or eat it cold? I enjoy cold spaghetti over reheated. Same with pizza and a lot of other foods. The reheating process seams to take out some of the flavor.

Rovers
I generally prefer it when it's fresh made... if it's made right. Pasta usually gets too mushy, Italian sauce some prefer reheated, but I like the first batch off the stove. Chili is good reheated... Â But I found the secret for reheating pizza. Get a thick bottom SS pan, heat it on warm (gas stove) for about a minute. Throw one slice in, cover... wait about 2 minutes... and it's as good as a reheated slice in the pizza parlor. Â Colcanon is great reheated... probably better. Â There is some stuff that should just NEVER be eaten cold. Leftover rice for one. White Castle sliders. Hot and sour soup. French fries. Baked potato. Cabbage. A Rueben sammich.
driveby
What's the statute of limitations on a pot of chili I made a week ago yesterday, leftovers been in the fridge since. Down to a couple bowls left. Still good to eat?

Savage Beatings
beef stew for sure for me! Â I'm not a big fan of re-heated pastas... however if I have a really good sauce to re-heat but can boil some fresh noodles to go with it, then I can get on board. Egret
I'm a little odd. I rarely reheat food. I eat it cold instead. Reheating tends to ruin some of the flavor. I can deal with cold food.
TDFFFreak
Barbques (sloppy joes)Lasagna Chili Beef stew ? Lasagna is the first and only thing that came to mind. Leftovers are almost never better than something freshly made and the "almost" is lasagna.
