aterry1979 Posted October 16, 2008 Share Posted October 16, 2008 I have this guy on my bench, thinking he will light up the team even more when he comes back, but havent heard anything from this 4-6 week injury he had. I know he has emotional problems and feel horrible for the guy, but is he coming back to play for the titans? I want to drop him for another qb but not sure if its worth it or not. FishFreak Posted October 16, 2008 Share Posted October 16, 2008 Kerry Collins is clearly playing QB better than Vince Young but I seriously doubt Young is done. If you can stash him on your roster I say keep him. I wouldn't at all be surprised to see him come back this year and be the QB for the Titans. He's still young, has a lot of room for improvement and is a proven winner. If he can learn to protect the ball and play mistake free and learn from Collins, he'll be just fine. Collins is old and the Titans will have to eventually make some plays in the passing game especially in the playoffs. You can't play it tight to the vest every game and just rely on running the ball and playing good D. That will eventually bite the Titans in the azz.
