bushwacked
is that a filter? i just saw that same bizarre phrase in another thread I believe I'm butchering a Steve Martin stand up saying that basically translates into "What are you talking about?" LayLow
What did I miss ? I just saw highlights of the game...and not only did he throw that Redzone int, he then fumbled on the next series and Buffalo ran the clock out for the win...LOL
Pope Flick
is that a filter? i just saw that same bizarre phrase in another thread Where? I enjoy dropping that line every once in a while "momma dog face in the banana patch" - which was part of Steve Martin's 1970s routine on how to teach 7 year olds to talk wrong. Rovers
The Bolts were a team I liked since the days of light blue uni's when they weren't throw backs, Winslow, Fouts air Coryell (sp wrong) ... etc. But, I dislike Rivers so much, I now root against the Chargers... even when they were playing one my team's biggest rivals. I never want to see a guy get hurt... didn't see the game, but if Rivers falls on his face and blows a game? That makes me happy. There are players I like, some on rival teams, and players I don't like... Rivers is at the top of the list in the latter category. Was he screaming at the Bills offense from the safety of the sideline?

__HAUSE__
It's to bad it was Rivers fault they lost...I mean the pressure the Bills defense put on him all game could not have been the reason. We all know the Bills could not be a reason a player like Rivers would play badly.

We are just part of the "We Don't Like Rivers Fan Club" and were glad to see him play poorly.

rebdog
Laylow, who is your team and what's with the hate-on for Rivers? because the guy's been on camera a couple of times jawing at Cutler or the Indy fans? lol many players talk...even Cutler who himself seems to come off as a bit of an ass if you ask me. because of the Buffalo blackout, i could only see from the third Q on. but we were in the game. it came down to the pick in the endzone mid-4th, yes. but to act as if its all Rivers just so you can piss on him is moronic. wasn't his best day, but we've definitely got other issues. like no pass rush without Merriman, and little to no running game with LT's toe and perhaps the loss of Lo Neal. Rivers did throw two TDs and is up there in the league this year for TD passes. i've heard Rivers talk plenty of times. he respects the game and the history of the game. he's definitely an exciteable player and needs to reel it in sometimes, but i'm very happy to have him and i know his teammates respect him. things aren't always what they seem. hell, Brett Favre was everyone's model for what a pro QB should be. starting to seem like he isn't everything the media made him out to be....especially given the reports of today. bushwacked
Laylow, who is your team and what's with the hate-on for Rivers? You know, he might be an okay guy, but Rivers comes off as a punk of Ryan Leaf proportions to those of us that are on the outside.
