Grits and Shins
In one of my leagues I have managed to stumble my way to a 5-2 record despite being the 9th ranked team in points scored. There are teams that have scored more points than mine sitting at 4-3, 2-5, 2-5 and 1-6. We have to start 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 PK, 1 DF, 1 FLEX (RB/WR/TE). Here is the status of players I have to choose from this week Rodgers - OFF Romo - Likely out or ineffective with a broken pinky Addai - OUT with a torn hamstring Dunn - Likely OUT with a pinched nerve in his back (status is unknown right now) Kevin Smith - a must start LenDale White - a must start Berrian - OFF Branch - may return from injury but likely in-effective especially if Hasslebeck is not the QB Reggie Brown - working his way back from an injury, a must start for me this week Burress - please don't get suspended again Gage - for the third or fourth time this season supposed to be back this week Galloway - might play this week Shockey - re-injured himself, likely out or ineffective Lee - OFF Stevens - a must start for me Longwell - OFF JAX or SEA Does anybody have it worse than that this week
Chaim.Witz
Well, that's pretty bad! And if anybody says they have it worse, I would tend to believe they are full of poopie! Why don't I buy you a beer and we'll toast to week

Let It Ride
Every season there seems to be a team like yours....I have experienced it a couple of times. I consider that type of team a great defensive team that holds my opponents to minimal scoring.....lol. Unfortunately, it catches up to you and doesnt pan out in playoffs. Good luk. On the flip side there is a team that is in top 3-4 in league for overall points ,yet, they seem to get the high team scorer for the week almost every week! Currently in our league there is a team that is 4th in scoring yet is an incredible 0-7!!! I had a crushing defeat last nite with Brandon Marshall. I was tied with my opponent(he had the tiebreaker) and Marshall just needed 3 yards to give me the win. With seven minutes left he drops and 8 yard pass, drops a 5 yard pass and then catches a 15 yard pass only to be negated by a penalty....I lose. Sickened in my stomach............FF is hard on the mind and body.

DeSean Randle El Gates Elam Probably not as bad as you, but I ain't counting any chickens

femmefootball
I don't know if it tops, but how about this We have to start 2 QBs, just FYI. QB: Fitzpatrick, Russell, Collins, Thigpen (they may not be on byes, but would it matter if they were?) RB: Peterson (bye), Forte (bye), leaving... Chris Johnson, C. Buckhalter & B. Green-Ellis (2/3 to start, 1 could flex) WR:E. Royal (bye), L. Coles (out with a concussion?), C. Chambers (injured) so we have... D. Jackson (with the team's other top 2 WR returning to the roster) and Colston (caught a fat zero last week), TE: O. Daniels K: Akers D: Indianapolis JUST for the record, I used to have Tom Brady and Palmer, and thought I was sooooo set in a 2QB league. Donutrun Jellies
Or the one where he pays $300 for his daughter a new softball bat... Now, now -- some of those girls grow up to be repeat state champion pitchers in high school and go on to be starting centerfielders on their college team, so it's money well spent if a pretty fancy bat brings them joy along the way ... plus it is soooooooooo much cheaper than hockey gear. pig devilz
dunno if i can top that or have it worse, but.... in one league i'm 5-2 tied for second and half the league, 6 teams, have more ponits than me. i've had to replace 8 of 12 players drafted due to injury and have had Colston and Shockey on the bench. of the original draft, only Jacobs, Bironis, NE Def and Housh have played every game. this seems to be a good year though, for this kinda mess....Mr. Reliable ain't been so reliable. rai
I can't top that but I have Forte, AP, Marshall and Rodgers on a bye week each of those players is scoring about 20 points a week so like 80 points about on bye that's like a muderer's row of bye players and have to start Hightower at RB Edited October 24, 2008 by rai
