drewjh
With two solid weeks under his belt the only thing that seems to be slowing him down is the possible knee injury. Reports said he didn't practice Wednesday but LaMont Jordan was full speed. Should we expect a decline in Morris' stats now that Jordan is back? I think you will see a decline in Morris's stats due to his knee injury more than Jordan returning.
Marauders11
I think you will see a decline in his stats because he won't be playing this weekend.
BrooklynCrew
Jordan didn't actually 'practice'... per the Boston Herald, he walked through the walk through... and then didn't participate in actual practice today. So not sure Jordan's status either. http://www.rotoworld.com/content/playerpag...=NFL&id=
i_am_the_swammi
BrooklynCrew, your link regards Wednesday's update. However, neither Jordan or Morris practiced on Thursday (today), per Fanball: Morris, Jordan not at practice Thursday 10/23, 3:01 PM CT Running backs Sammy Morris and LaMont Jordan were not at the beginning of New England's practice, which the media are allowed to watch, according to the Boston Herald. Our View: If either or both can't go, the running back rotation would consist of Kevin Faulk, BenJarvus Green-Ellis and Heath Evans. The Rams defense does allow rushing yards, so whoever gets the start will likely have nice fantasy value. Unfortunately, Bill Belichick does not usually blab about injuries or alternate plans for players who get hurt. BrooklynCrew
Yeah, I just read the latest update... which sounds bad for Sammy/Lamont.
BrooklynCrew
SAMMY OUT 2-3 WEEKS Sammy Morris is expected to miss two-to-three weeks with a knee injury, according to NFL.com's Adam Schefter. LaMont Jordan is also considered unlikely to play this week. That would leave undrafted rookie Benjarvus Green-Ellis and Kevin Faulk to split carries for the Patriots in the short term. Morris is worth hanging on to in most formats - he could be useful in November. Green-Ellis is worth a pickup to see what happens.
