pig devilz
what have you heard?....how bad is it reall? By R.B. FALLSTROM, AP Sports Writer ST. LOUIS (AP)—St. Louis running back Steven Jackson missed his second straight day of practice on Thursday because of a strained right thigh muscle, though the Rams remained hopeful their leading rusher and receiver would be ready for Sunday’s game at New England. “We’ll just take it day by day,” Haslett said. “He looks better to me.” Jackson speculated Wednesday that it might be better to miss Sunday’s game if there was a risk of aggravating the injury, or if it helped him get back to 100 percent for the following week. Haslett had no problem with that. “It’s got to be up to him whether he feels good enough, because I’m not in his body,” Haslett said. “A guy breaks a finger, obviously they can play. If a running back hurts his legs, it’s a little different.”............ sure glad to read that Haslett is "not in his (Jackson's) body"

Piranha
Looks like a game time decision.
Untouchable1
Yeah, it's going to be a game time decision. Stephen said a few times that his leg is feeling good, but he said that if he's not 100 percent then he won't play, so it all depends how well he sleeps... He better sleep well and rest up because I need him this week!
i_am_the_swammi
ESPN reporting Jackson will be listed as INACTIVE. Will need to wait until 12:00 to be sure, but it looks like he's out.

gasface
10/26: FOX Sports’ John Czarnecki thinks that Steven Jackson is “85 percent not to play” due to his quad injury. The Rams have said publicly that he’s likely a game-time decision.

The Rams have said publicly that he’s likely a game-time decision. All I can say is that I'm glad I still have Jamal Lewis on my roster after trying to trade him for a WR upgrade. The huddle has helped bigtime this year with my midround selection of Chris Johnson after going Jackson and Lewis among my first 3 picks. Fanball says he is starting: Rams: Jackson expected to be active 10/26/08 10:24 AM THE NEWS Running back Steven Jackson (thigh) is expected to play against New England, according to John Clayton of ESPN. Our View This conflicts with an earlier report by Fox Sports that Jackson was an 85 percent bet not to play. We will provide definitive word when the inactive lists are released. mhayhurst
Per Rotoworld Oct. 26 - 11:38 am et Steven Jackson is inactive Sunday against New England. This severely decreases St. Louis' chances of winning the game. Antonio Pittman will start with Travis Minor and Kenneth Darby rotating in. Shorttynaz
I have Jackson and desperate for a RB start this week (starting BGE from NE) however I'm glad he's not playing. Let it heal and dont play with it the rest of the season.

twiley
Any thoughts on Pittman... He runs the ball well but I'm not sure I would expect great numbers out of him today.
