Vikings spokesman Bob Hagan said Sunday the team does not comment on the league's substance abuse policies. Greg Aiello, the NFL's senior vice president of public relations, said the league also would have no comment. This is because the system is supposed to be confidential until the appeals process has played out and a suspension is announced. So if this is supposed to be confidential, why are these names being leaked? What if one of these guys turns out to be innocent (I know... not likely, but still)? This coudl irreparably damage the reputations of every name being leaked in this report. As thorough as the league needs to be in regards to banned substances, it should also conduct an equally thorough investigation into their own internal leaks.
