Shotgun Messiahs
The Houston Chronicle reports Texans WR Andre Johnson has two chances to make NFL history Sunday against the Vikings. Johnson can become the first receiver to have at least 130 yards in five consecutive games. He shares the record with Chargers WR Lance Alworth (1968) and Rams WR Harold Jackson (1971-72). Johnson also can set a record if he catches at least 10 passes for the fourth consecutive game. He's tied with the Lions WR Brett Perriman (1995) and the Colts WR Reggie Wayne (2007-08). With considerable help from his teammates on offense, especially QB Matt Schaub, Johnson has lifted the Texans on his shoulders. He's trying to carry them from an 0-4 abyss to respectability. muck
I wonder if he would provide a little "how to" pamphlet to a couple of my WRs? ...that is some serious production... Salute!
Flip_Side
That catch he had on the final drive vs the Fins where he caught it with a guys hand inbetween his was insane. I remember it like yesterday and am still mad about it. Edited October 31, 2008 by Flip_Side

policyvote
the Lions WR Brett Perriman (1995) and the Colts WR Reggie Wayne (2007-08). Common thread? #2 WRs in a Tom Moore offense! Peace policy
biggamer3
AJ reminds me of Hermon Moore, dont know why Look at Moores production in his prime, scarily similar to AJ's http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/stats?playerId=

tazinib1
I knew somebody would make an AJ post. Mentioning AJ on FF boards is like calling out a no-hitter in the 7th inning. Thanks alot....count down to AJ's yearly injury begins --- now!

Ziachild007
<------AJ nut hanger As I have said before, IMO he is one of the top 2-3 WRs, if not #1 in the league as far as pure talent goes.
rebdog
while i think his number of catches will suffer, i believe his TD production will only go up when Houston faces better defenses. in the redzone Schaub won't have the time or space to find the likes of Walter or Daniels. if i'm Schaub i'm relying on AJ to make the play.
