CrazyOne
Sunday night game doesn't help matters. We had the last news as "he's hopeful he can go", nice and vague. Or maybe now they're manipulating the report as was suggested in another thread....
NYCDOG
From Yahoo!: Sat, Nov 1 Wayne (knee) participated in practice on Friday and says he'll be ready to play despite a questionable designation on the injury report. "I'm ready to go," he told the Indianapolis Star.
CrazyOne
Thanks. Had been poking around some Fri night and yesterday and didn't see much new (including the Indy Star) until reading this right now. See also this thread for anyone else looking http://forums.thehuddle.com/index.php?showtopic=269779 although not a lot different. It appears he expects to play. And he has a long "hasn't missed a game" streak.
kpholmes
Wayne's game streak is at 88. He said he felt good in practice yesterday, and I can't see him sitting out against the Patriots - Peyton is gonna need all the help he can get. I'm playing him in three leagues
Scooby
personally, I can't afford to have another 2 point performance from the dude, I'm benching him for Matt Jones of all people!!! We'll see how that one pans out
CrazyOne
I don't have anyone worth benching him for. Roy Williams? Eh. And Chris Chambers on bye. Have Donnie Avery starting in my other spot now. So it would have been to the wire to get someone else. At this stage I'll take my chances with Wayne. I have Peyton, too (got in a trade) and that really only panned out well a couple times. Mediocre season so far, but we have crazy parity in our league with nobody lower than 3-5 and top teams at 5-3 so still time to make it work. But not much time.... major-tom
I'm lucky to have Gonzalez to switch him out with if needed.
RJV
IMO, im guessing Wayne will HAVE TO play. Manning will need everyone to beat the Pats. He was left out of practice to heal up.
detlef
I actually do have a decent option besides him but can't imagine benching him. I can assure you that I wouldn't play Jones in front of him. I'm leaving both B Edwards and B Berrian on the bench and playing Wayne along with Roddy White and B Marshall. Of course, Wayne was actually the top scorer among the guys I actually started. F'ing Brandon Marshall is pissing me off.
