Ice717
According to Steven Jackson himself written on his webpage that the leg feels good and will playing tom. "Game On by Steven Jackson I want to let you all know that the leg is feeling good enough for me to go on Sunday. This is a big game for us against Arizona, and I’m going to give everything I’ve got to get us a win. So to be clear: I am playing. Be ready. John Crapper
Nice, TY for the info. I'll still play Portis and Forte in the league I have him in, but as a STL guy I do appricate the info. Go Rams!
STL Fan
That's cool and all, but it's really not his decision. He wanted to play last week, too. I'd feel better hearing it from the team.
twiley
That's cool and all, but it's really not his decision. He wanted to play last week, too. I'd feel better hearing it from the team. Wurd. I haven't heard anything on the local front yet. I may have to annoy my sources and see what they know.

irish
ESPN's John Clayton reports Rams RB Steven Jackson is expected to play against the Cardinals. However, he said that last week as well so just be sure Jackson is definitely a go.
GobbleDog
Not that it means anything, but I heard the ESPN radio dude say this morning that Jackson will play, but he thinks Jackson's carries will be limited. I could see that.
gilthorp
gilthorp read on sj39.com last night that he was going to go today.
Ursa Majoris
Looks like CBS says he's ACTIVE today...i'm staring him over Graham and R. Brown I would much sooner start a Dunn-less Graham against KC than a possibly limited Jackson.

Wolv
That's cool and all, but it's really not his decision. He wanted to play last week, too. I'd feel better hearing it from the team. Dunno about that - from what I've been reading Haslett leaves the decision up to Jackson himself. Per NFL.com last week: "We'll just take it day by day," Haslett said. "He looks better to me." Jackson speculated Wednesday that it might be better to miss Sunday's game if there was a risk of aggravating the injury, or if it helped him get back to 100 percent for the following week. Haslett had no problem with that. "It's got to be up to him whether he feels good enough, because I'm not in his body," Haslett said. heehawks
So I take it that Jackson is done for the day. Rams getting killed. I doubt they would want to injure SJax any further than he already is. Thanks for the 1pt.
Chloroform Rx
I'm thinking he got hurt or tweaked something he never came out in the second half. They were down 3 TD's but that is not something impossible to overcome by any means.
STL Fan
He came back in late in the game just in time to drop a freakin' touchdown pass right in his hands in the end zone. By far the best pass Bulger has thrown in a year and he lets it go through his hands. Second bad drop of the day at least.
Belushi
I started him. That sucked, because I left Rice and Antonio Bryant (flex) on my bench for Jackson's one point. Least he could have done was catch that easy TD pass that hit him right in the hands.

STL Fan
Hit him in the hands? Oh come on! It floated into his hands as if carried by an angel. Except for the one TD, the rest of Bulger's passes looked as if they were spit at the receivers by Satan.
Square
I didn't get to see the game. Whats the long term word on his injury? Is he going to be worthless for a few more weeks or was the game just out of hand. I haven't been able to find much info on him and I have to hit the WW if I need another player by the end of Tuesday.

I haven't been able to find much info on him and I have to hit the WW if I need another player by the end of Tuesday. He had no burst at all. His two horrific drops were probably not because of his leg unless he was just so distracted he couldn't remember how to work his hands. This offense and this guy are so inconsistent right now it's impossible to predict anything. He could go out and put up 25 against the Jets. He may also put up a 0 or a DNP. Do you feel lucky? heehawks
I'm benching him for J.Lewis without any qualms. JLew will get touches, is heathy and is up against Denvers run D. SJax is obviously still hurt, and I don't want to take the chance. Luckily I have capable backups to fill in until I see consistent numbers from him. That is what drafting is all about, DEPTH!! People seem to keep starting first rounders, even if they are sucking it up, just because they are first rounders. I'm breaking the mold next week, and will very likley score more points because of it.
