Just my observations on him are that he looks slow and not hitting the holes.

He hasn't played in a game in well over a year, it's his first game in the NFL and is coming off an injury. It's going to take some time.

The Broncos didn't click very well on offense so I'm not sure you can read to much into today's performance.

I think everyone is overlooking the most obvious problem with ever assuming he was an NFL ready RB.

He's been playing against the Denver run defense!!

I'm sure he looked awesome in practice, Shannahan was always spouting about how good he looks hitting the holes, and his elusivness, but that D makes every RB look like a stud. Too bad Denver doesn't face Denver this season, because that's a matchup I'd start him in.

quite a few people here said he probably won't get rolling until about week 12....anyone who relied on him to be anything more than a wildcard this week was living a pipedream...

I started him in one league because I really didn't have much of a better option....

but apparently he looked the best out of the bunch...and Pittman hasn't exactly been a chump except yesterday because they completely abandoned the run....

Miami's offense has shown the ability to beat up on bad defense's this year....so it just happened i guess...:D

That's pretty much how I see it. I had absolutely no other options besides Mewelde Moore so I figured, "what the hell. Maybe dude will make me look like a genius." Of course, I was hardly expecting anything much. Now, I figured I'd see maybe 20-30 yds or so but, especially considering the fact that Miami has been pretty stout vs the run...

Well, the hope I see is that Torain is talented, but more importantly: 1) DEN lterally has no one else capable of running the ball, and 2) with the DEN D being so atrocious, Shanahan has to protect them by shortening games and sustaining drives - and that means running the football.

DEN had their RBs go for a grand total of 13 yds yesterday - and we're talking about running against a solid but hardly a historically great D. Cutler is clearly feeling the pressure of having to carry the entire team, and teams are going to kill him if he has to throw the ball 40+ times every game, plus the D will be on the field for extended periods, and the DEN D is simply put a complete & utter embarrassment - and now DJ Williams is hurt also.

DEN is going to have to develop a credible running game, or they may lose at least 6 of their next 8 games. That points at opportunity. All that is waiting is whether Torain is capable of taking advantage of that opportunity.

Miami had a top-10 rush defense coming into the game in terms of yards-allowed.

Not sure why anyone would think the Broncos were going to run all over them.

Because DEN was #12 in rushing O. I'm not sure anyone expected DEN to "run all over" MIA, but I think most people, even the most prejudiced Phins' fans, were surprised by 15 total rushing yards.
