Chavez
14 total yards of offense in the first half. 4 games under Lane Kiffin - average of 308 yds of offense per game. 3 1/2 games under Tom Cable - average of 201 ypg. Another brilliant move brought to you by Al Davis.

westvirginia
Weren't the Raider's fans the ones giddy with the draft picks that Tampa gave for Gruden? Saying he wasn't worth it, something like that?
Chavez
Weren't the Raider's fans the ones giddy with the draft picks that Tampa gave for Gruden? Saying he wasn't worth it, something like that? He ISN'T, but he's a damn sight better than anything the Raiders have trotted out since he left. Kiffin had potential; the Raiders were MUCH improved under him. Obviously, Al Davis felt that had to stop.

Pkillebr
I figured a one week plug in of Janikowski was a good move.. paid off a few weeks ago with his record breaking OT FG. I've never had a kicker get me zero points before...
Belushi
Russell is a huge bust. I'm tired of hearing how he's young and needs time to develop. Matt Ryan seems to be doing just fine. Trent Edwards ain't too bad. Cutler's figured things out. When will NFL scouts figure out that what's between the ears is more important in a QB than physical attributes (see Vince Young, Michael Vick)? All the ones you named as doing good are white. All the ones you named as busts are black!! Or is it maybe just that whites are better than blacks? It should go noted that I am just making a joke. Try to put Matt Ryan or Trent Edwards in the Raider's system and see how well they do! They would be just as bad! We need stability and a good offensive coordinator. Plus some receivers that do not drop almost every pass thrown there way. It is far to early to call J Russ a bust! But we all have our opinions. Peep, I agree! I used to not believe this, but now I do. Big Al please retire or give it up! Things are way too bad!!! kingfish247
By now there's no reason for Goodell, with the backing of the other NFL owners, not to step in to change things in Oakland. It's bad for Oakland fans, it's bad for fans who want to see a decent football game, it's just plain bad for the league to have such disfunction within one of the NFL's franchises. It's ten times worse than Detroit has ever been since 2001. OAK is one of the worst, if not the worst, NFL franchises in the history of the NFL. The Vatican Hitsquad
How old are you? Not defending the state of the current team at all, but clearly a statement like that from Kingfish is either: 1) Fishing 2) Ignorance due to his 5 years of watching pro football
Pkillebr
I like to look at it this way: Mark Bradley 37 passing yards, 1 TD JaMarcus Russell 31 passing yards, 0 TD, 1 INT Bradley is a WR for KC and is one of four different players that threw more TDs in the TB v KC game than Russell did =D *edit for typo* Edited November 3, 2008 by Pkillebr
