Belushi
I'm glad the Packers ditched Walker. Another correct move by management. While he's had some flashes, he's been injured way too often and it looks like his career is nearing an end.
dirtdickens
Tommy Kelly sounds to be on the way out also. Actually aside from like 5 players it is starting to sound like Crazy Al is going to get rid of everyone and start over.

WashingtonD
You'd think that the Cowboys would look long and hard at acquiring D'eangalo....The Redskins would probably also be in the mix given the age and relative lack of health at their CB position, though it seems relative fiscal responsibility has taken over in DC so I wonder if they'd pick up his large contract. Randall
Indeed.Hall, Walker, Kelly, Huff... four hugh contracts. Nice move there Al. Â Â First it was Kiffin's fault. Â Now it's? cdrudge
Â Pretty soon the only one left to blame will be in Al's mirror.Have you seen a picture of Al lately? That mirror broke long ago. Actually, come to think of it, I bet the mirror broke shortly after Superbowl XXXVII. I guess that means Raiders are going to continue to suck through at least the 2009 season. xMRogers
so my 110 to 1 $10 ticked ont eh Raiders winnign it all can be tossed (was betting on a "hell, everyone is new to this - sure, probably win 2 games, but what if it turns out not knowing anyone on the team is a good thing" .... fits nicely wiht my Texans 80 to1 ticket)

Chief Dick
I could see KC grab him. I assume he would need to get to them on the waiver order first? Â KC has plenty of cap room.
myhousekey
Cowboys correspondant Mickey Spagnola reporting its close to a done deal. Hall to the Cowboys. Â Edit: From a post on another board... Schefer speculates that the interested teams could be Dallas, Washington, NY Giants, and NE. Most likely no one will claim him prior to him clearing waivers on Thursday at 4:00 pm EST b/c if a team does then it is on the hook for his $16 million injury insurance policy. So, even if Dallas does get a deal done, don't look for a deal to be officially announced until after 4:00 tomorrow. Chaim.Witz
Mike Huff is also on the list - he was benched two weeks ago for sucking. I wouldn't be surprised to see him as a possibility in Big D. For some unknown reason, this has crept into my tiny pea-brain several times recently....before you saying he might be on the "Getting Rid of Everybody Who Either Sucks or Makes More Money Than They Should Based on Their Performance" list. Â Somebody said its "contagious", and in this situation in Oakland, that might not be too far off target. They created this mess, and after a while, despite their true talent or determination when they first came on board, some players will fall into the trap of "I'll show up because you're paying me, but there is no way this team is going to win" attitude. Â I don't think that one of these players will mind getting cut by the Raiders, and having a chance to get picked up somewhere else....even Detroit. Not one of them will want to return to the Raiders.....no matter what. Â That would be the equivalent of Satan kicking you out of helll, then you trying to beat the door down to get back in. Â If I was on the team and it was my chance to escape, and I wasn't already on the list, I would make sure this week I pulled a Chad Johnson stunt with my jersey name. But instead of Ocho Cinco, I would put Kiffen on the back of my jersey. I'm sure I would be released by half-time.

The Vatican Hitsquad
Indeed.Hall, Walker, Kelly, Huff... four hugh contracts. Nice move there Al. Hey KP, is there any word coming out from Oakland as to the reasoning WHY? Besides the clear choices of "Al Davis is Al Davis" and the less likely "Stop the Horsespoopyte, let's rebuild this team from the ground up and this time Al is butting out". We jsut gave up a #2 for him, never mind the money. Plus all these other defensive players from Ryans side, who Davis loves.
