euphy
Saw him play this past week, he's a poor man's version of Brandon Jacobs. Not to mention he doesn't have quick feet. He's reminds me of LeRon McClain. Don't believe the nerds on this forum, start anyone but him.

Scourge
I agree.. He might have had a chance if he was not coming back half way through the season. No way he will be game speed before week 14 and that speed aint that good. Edited November 5, 2008 by Scourge

Hat Trick
So give us your next midseason break out player oh genius one. I'll be eagerly awaiting your response on who i should go grab right quick who can put me over the top. And for the record I never touted him, just bought into the hype, but only have him on one team out of 7. kingfish247
Great thread. Really stuck it to all those nerds that said if you stashed him you'll end up with a starting NFL RB. Boy, was that a stupid idea or what. If you stashed him, you would've had an RB in line for mucho carries. He may completely suck but there aren't many RBs available in week 10 who have this type of opportunity.
Delicious_bass
Whether he turns out to be a bust or not, ANYONE who starts a new thread about Torain at this point should be punched in the face For phock sake! We get more new threads each day about this guy than he has carries or yards in the NFL! What is so hard about posting in a thread already going? Honestly! Some of you clowns need to stop making a new thread each time you have a thought about a player/team

i_am_the_swammi
Saw him play this past week, he's a poor man's version of Brandon Jacobs. Which of his three career touches had you convinced he's a stiff?
loaf
there's no way he's in game shape and ready to carry the load. even against the browns. I've got him and I'm starting KSmith over him but to call him a bust after 3 career carries is a little premature. dontcha think?
Puddy
Which of his three career touches had you convinced he's a stiff? Exactly. Oh and this nerd predicted his lack of production last week.

i_am_the_swammi
Pick up Jamal Charles if you haven't already. He's better. Hmmm....you ARE savvy. Pick-up a starting NFL RB in Week 10. I am glad I am in a 6-team league, or your recommendation would be useless.

Wrong again, Einstein: Chiefs set to welcome back L.J. in Week 11 According to ESPN's John Clayton, Chiefs coach Herm Edwards is warming to the idea of letting Larry Johnson play after his Week 10 suspension is up. The Chiefs were previously believed to be considering holding L.J. out even after his suspension for violating the conduct code is over, but the team is scrambling with Kolby Smith on IR and rookie Jamaal Charles starting. If L.J. does return in Week 11, Charles' chances of having RB2 value for more than one game in the second half of the season will be significantly reduced. Johnson's fantasy owners should be very happy with this news. Nov. 5 - 1:33 pm et Source: ESPN Insider
