this guy a 3 down LB? Hugh implications for the Saints if he plays in 85% of the defensive snaps and resigns. I can't imagine why they wouldn't want to resign him. If he reaches that playing time mark and gets a new contract, that 4th they gave up for him becomes the 2nd that "is" going to New York...which would force NO to give up thier '10 1rst to the Giants.

Two things, first do you think Vilma/Shockey was worth a 2009 2nd/5th and 2010 1rst? Second do you think the Saints would  hold Vilma back a few plays to keep this from happening. Not sure if its possible...but all sorts of "injuries" can happen.
