FoxSports.com's John Czarnecki reports that Jonathan Stewart (questionable, heel) will play against the Panthers.

This isn't great news for DeAngelo Williams owners if Czar proves to be right. DeAngelo is still a solid RB2, but he was a RB1 without Stewart. Stewart barely practiced all week, so his role may limited. It makes sense that he'll play because the Panthers may have left him in Carolina if they truly planned to sit him. Nov. 9 - 8:31 am et

Damn, I was hoping he was out. Now I have to decide between risking him being limited and Slaton vs the Ravens.

With Stewart's status, even if he may be playing, I don't see how you'd bench Slaton for Stewart especially if it's a PPR league.

With Slaton having 7 rush yards, it doesn't seem like a bad idea right now.

Seriously. But who knew what would happen and at least you knew Slaton would start. My choice of Slaton over Stewart was more about Stewart's very questionable injury status and less about my confidence in Slaton (an obvious tough matchup against the Ravens). If I had a much better option, I would have benched both of them, but Slaton was the better play going into kickoff.

I didn't see the game, but I heard Slaton had a 50+ yard reception for a TD that was called back for holding. I would have started Slaton over a rookie with a bum-heel as well.
