Monday Night?

I need AZ to not run all over SF and force a ton of turnovers.

If Hightower and AZ D don't combine for nearly 50 pts (which, of course, is something they could certainly pull off), then I can say I survived T Jones.

Mind you, that same T Jones helped pace me to a 75 pt lead (facing L Fitz but I'm guessing dude doesn't go for 150 and 10 TDs) in my other league.

i've never understood these threads ... why do you care what i need?

We don't ... it's a thinly veiled opportunity to tell everyone what we need.

By the way ... I need Warner to have a completely pedestrian performance. Nothing over 220 yards and 2 TD's.

Amazingly, nothing. I won, even though the other guy had Winslow and I still started Lynch. Although, it came at the expense of having to watch the Steelers lose (in person, at the game, and I don't get to go very often) even as I had Manning and Wayne on my fantasy team. So....

What I really need is a time machine, go back to the draft and sub in Portis for my first-round pick instead of Lynch. Still in it, but a long shot to get into the playoffs most likely.

I would imagine that if we held this logical standard to every post made at the Huddle, nearly everyone would have a post count much, much, much lower than it is.

We do it because we're geeks. We do it because, starting Sunday around noon, this occupies a rather pathetically large amount of our thoughts. Of course, Sunday is easy because it's all happening at once. Then the game is put on hold for an excruciating day while we're left to ponder what events, all of which are entirely out of our control, need to go down for us to secure a victory. Sometimes we're spared this as our fate is sealed one way or another.

Other times, we convene here, looking for that flickering beacon of hope that comes in the form of a simple "that's not too much to ask, you should be cool." Maybe we're just looking for an empathetic word to sooth our frustrations. "Wow, looks rough! Of course, you should see my team, I got murdered!"

Don't be the guy that kills the buzz. Don't be that guy.

Well, I'm up by 30 points and I have KCs quarterback and he has Issac Bruce... So I think I'm set

PS does anyone know if Shaun Hill is starting for sure (I have both him and O'Sullivan, I just need to make sure I start the right guy! Just in case... if Issac Bruce is catching two 90 yard TDs they are damned well coming from my QB!)
