No Quarter Posted November 14, 2008 Share Posted November 14, 2008 From CBS Sportsline: Cedric Benson, RB CIN News: Cincinnati RB Cedric Benson (back) could not practice on Thursday after not being listed on the practice report on Wednesday. The Bengals host Philadelphia in Week 11. Can anyone add anything to this? Our lineups lock before the first game of the week and my options were limited by injuries for the #2 rb. I have him down to start in two leagues so I'll have to look at other options. I can do this because none of my leagues are foolish enough to lock the entire lineup three days before kickoff. No Quarter Posted November 14, 2008 Author Share Posted November 14, 2008 Wow, strait info from the Big Guy himself! Thank you, I'm impressed. Yes the early lock down rule sucks, and yes I have tried several times over the years to have it changed but always got voted down so I live with it. It seems to screw me every year as soon as the Thursday games start, but what can you do? And yes, it sucks to have Benson as my best number 2 option. Graham is nicked up and I don't trust Jonathan Stewart so Benson was my call. Been wrong before! At least TJ did pretty well.
