Turf Smurf
Anybody have any thoughts or better yet insight on Alex Haynes? Thought I was a prophet picking up Torain 4 weeks ago in all my leagues.
Mystykoekaki
I believe (could be wrong on this) that Hillis is getting the shot first, I don't think Haynes has anything to do with anything....but it is the DEN running game so who knows.... scottyjets
Anyone think TBell gets the start? I'm in a jam and I'm considering giving him the nod.
scottyjets
Hillis is a fullback............... Not that the Broncos looked bad when they were pass-happy with all those one-back sets. I just don't think he gets any carries unless it's truly an emergency situation (the only two runningbacks on your roster go down in the first half) PJ Pope could not be put into last Thursday's game, right? That leads me to believe that Shanny only went with Hillis because he had no other options. Bell is another option. I'm not starting him, but I think Denver will. major-tom
I doubt Shenanigans even knows what he is going to do on Sunday.
Cowboyz1
Take a look at this. Denver signed Tatum Bell. The guy who stole Rudi Johnsons Bags and couldn't stay on the Lions roster. Now if that isn't desperate then I don't know what is. However, that said, I still think they where just getting a body to practice with, since he knows the plays and all. But to put him out there in a game? I don't see it. I would think they would go Wildcat with Eddie Royal or run the center sneak first. I don't want to believe Denver would start this idiot and have his name called by the TV announcer as a Denver Bronco. Then again, Hillis caught what 8 passes for 116 yards, playing FB, so stranger things have happened in Denver.
Cowboyz1
I think this would apply here also. I wrote this in the Advice forum and thought is may help here also. Get Hillis out of your minds. He is an aberation, a figment of your imagination, he is a FB who caught 8 passes for 116 yards in ONE game. Then didn't touch the ball the next. Don't be fooled by Shannahan. I was again this year with Torain. He too was a figment of my imagination. I really thought that I had the starting running back for the run happy Denver Broncos in my clutches. I was wrong again. As we all have been. AND IF YOU THINK YOU CAN PICK WHO THE RB IS GOING TO BE IN DENVER AND WHAT SHANAHAN IS GOING TO DO ON SUNDAY, YOU WILL BE WRONG TOO. Then again you may be right. THIS WEEK, but you will inevitably be proven that once again you have been fooled by the Denver RB Mirage. Look let me spare you some pain. Go with your other choices Just forget about Denver running backs. Try to imagine there are NO Denver RB's, because when you get right down to it, there really aren't any that will help you. Trust me now you see him, now you don't is the theme here. I have realized that Denver RB's really don't exist. I have fallen for the cheese many times myself and each time the trap takes a bit more of the skin off my lip. The fact you make logical sense means not only will they start TBell, but he'll go for 134 and 2 TDs.
splotchman
Stay away from Denver RBs. You'll be better off.

Alsott ran well from FB. Not to compare the players but you never know. Hillis' background was as a TB prior to making the switch. If he can run he will be given a chance. Cant wait to see! He got a TD last week. That could continue regardless.
Dooomsday
And the TDs for Hillis continue... 2 and counting. If I had only played him! LOL. Though Slaton and JA are doing me righteous!
