I was mocked last week for trading Plax, Santonio Holmes and FWP for LT last week. Im thinking I did okay in the deal.
CaptainHook
i actually benched him today. unfortunately, i benched him for antonio gates.
Skilly
I'm frustrated as well. Plax did get at least two solid endzone targets this week, but both would have been very difficult catches. Also, they were both ran from the shotgun, I believe. They need to try some more play action down near the goal line to keep the corners and safeties thinking run. I've tried trading him already, but I can't find any takers.
slickvick
When he was the only big threat the Giants had he had great fantasy value now the Giants are a run first team and I do not see that changing. If the Ravens cannot slow down that running attack I don't know who will. Bill Swerski
I'd bench him as well if I had better options. Unfortunately, those options consist of Chris Chambers, Rasheid Davis, and Bobby Engram.
BeeR
I'd take a flyer on Engram. I benched Burress' sorry butt weeks ago and it thankful I did so. I'd trade hiim for a backup D if we could still do trades. What a lazy worthless POS

Belushi
I think I'm going to have to start Burress this week. My other options are Colston vs. GB (yuck), Avery vs. Bears (yuck), and Breaston vs. NYG (yucky). Hopefully the NYG-ARI game is a shoot-out so Burress gets some passes. mroban
Never, I repeat, NEVER bench your players vs. the Cardinals. EVER. With Jacobs out they should be throwing alot against the Cardinals. I agree he should have a good week. If not this week, then, well, he isnt ever likely to happen this year. I still think he is somewhat getting frozen out of the gameplan because he isnt likely to be in the teams plans next season. obviously he is a major talent and they arent going to be fools - they want to win. But its also likely they dont want to rely too much on a guy that is going to be gone next year. I think Hixon slides into that spot next season for sure and they let Plax walk. BeeR
The arguments that favor starting Burress sound very Holt-like. Good luck with that. Honestly he's on the bubble for even being on my team.
CaptainHook
and now he's missing practice with a hamstring injury . . . he's going to the bench.
peepinmofo
He just signed an extension this season. He ain't goin' nowhere any time soon... The Raiders signed D Hall and cut him after 8 games. Anything can happen. Then again, that WAS the Raiders...
Randall
I'm waiting until Eli realizes he has a pro bowl WR on the team.
BeeR
? Toomer? Smith? Hixon? Oh you meant "went to the Pro Bowl" not a Pro Bowl-caliber player, got it Edited November 21, 2008 by BeeR
MrTed46
I'm waiting until Eli realizes he has a pro bowl WR on the team. Eli realizes he doesn't need him or his attitude to win...just the same we did with Shockey. WR is the deepest position the Giants have and if he wants to keep pulling of his attitude keep giving him doughnuts.
