Double Agent
Steven Jackson (quadriceps) has been ruled out for Week 12.It's a bad sign the Rams did this so early. Jackson visited a specialist over the weekend who discovered "a little bit of blood in (the thigh)," coach Jim Haslett said. "They feel he should be out this week, and rest him, and see what happens next week." Antonio Pittman will start in an unpredictable matchup vs. Chicago. S-Jax owners can't be expecting production soon. Nov. 17 - 4:51 pm et Source: Belleville News-Democrat
STL Fan
LT Orlando Pace is predicted to be out 2-4 weeks (maybe more) as well. That said, Pittmann was one of the few bright spots for the Rams against SF. If you call that bright.
Square
Luckily I have some RB depth because it doesn't look good for Sjax. Between his injury, Pace probably being done for the season and Incognito's crazy ass getting injured....I don't know if there is any reason to be optimistic for Sjax FF wise. Bronco Billy
I will freely admit (given some discussion in previous threads) that Jackson has not panned out well as a top 5 draft pick. He did perform well earlier in the season & was carrying his weight, but now he's about as useful to a FF team as starting a 220 lb paperweight. That said, he has sure beaten the hell out of having Maroney on one's roster no matter where one drafted Maroney.. immilicious
Tell me about it... I drafted Moss, Romo, Parker, Jackson, and Mcgahee ... in that order and look how that's turn out for me!!!!

T_bone65
I had the 2nd pick in AOTAOP and picked Sjax, luckily I also drafted Chris Johnson as well and Santana Moss has been lighting it up. I am the highest scoring team in the league without Sjax playing very much, looking forward to next year with him and Ocho Cinco.

FordFairlane
I will NEVER draft a training camp holdout again. I did not learn from history, and was doomed to repeat it: 2007 Drafted Larry Johnson in First Round despite training camp holdout. Johnson reports late, struggles all season with injuries and is a complete bust. 2008 Drafted Steven Jackson in First Round despite training camp holdout. Jackson reports late, struggles all season with injuries and is a complete bust. I did win my league last year when Waiver Wire Wonder Ryan Grant filled the hole left by Johnson. I'm hoping history repeats itself this year with Waiver Wire Wonders Tyler Thigpen or Lance Moore. MustOfBeenDrunk
Trade up? You Must Have Been Drunk. yes i was drunk ,, but at the time i thought 1.05 was a value pick for Sjax not the 1st time i was wrong and most likely will not be the last it is a dynasty league ,, so hopefully he bounces back next year ??? 51Butkus
S Jax is alot like Santana Moss, when they are good, they are really good! But when they are hurt, and trying to return, they are SEASON KILLERS!
FishFreak
I just want to know what's the real deal with this mysterious quariceps/thigh injury which souldn't be a 5 week healing process. Obviously something more serious is going on here.
