SEC=UGA
And conversely, those ranked below your team that you would least like to face. Of those ranked higher than UGA, I would most like to play Utah, Boise, or Ohio State in a bowl game. I don't think that Utah or Boise could stop our D-Line from constantly pressuring the QB and rendering their passing game obsolete, they would not be able to run against us, we're too big and too fast to the corners. OSU poses a little larger problem with the mobility of their QB, though I don't think their passing game is that good. Thus you leave a spy to follow TP around so he doesn't break for the long run on you. I think we could contain Beanie. Their Defense would give us fits, but I think we would win in a low scoring affair. I would be most afraid of playing Oklahoma State and Missou. Our pass defense is awful, and their O'lines are big enough to keep the pressure out of their respective QB's faces. On offense, we don't have a big play, fast scoring offense. We would not win a shootout. To beat either of these teams, we would have to control the clock and just batter them with Moreno, Samuels, and King... though I am afraid that they would stop us more than we would them. In other news, I wouldn't mind playing Oklahoma, as they usually lose decisevely to lesser opponents.
untateve
As a Florida fan, there is usually a team I fear. This year, I honestly can say that I am happy to play anyone. I'm not bragging/boasting, but I feel that if Florida is on their game, they can beat anyone in the country right now. Of course, I'm also aware that on any given saturday..., so I'm always a bit nervous depending on the opponent. Since Texas Tech is undefeated, I would like them to remain so with the hopes Florida could play them in the NC game.
detlef
I'm a Vols fan so there's a ton of teams ranked ahead of mine. Which would matter if 1) we could go to a bowl or 2) I thought we had a chance to beat any of them.
Bonedaddies
As a Texas fan, would love a rematch with TT to wipe the slate clean and love to play Bama cuz I dislike Saban and would love to punish his overated Tide.....UF will get to do that first however. Teams below...... Love a rematch with OU, what a game, it would make an awesome NC game for many, understand there would also be tons that would not want to see this happen. Just to raz Sarge, Texas would whoop that ers again baby! Love to play UF, everyone is "crowning their eers" already, it would be nice to come in as 10.5 point underdogs, represent the Big 12 and show that they are the best team and conference in 08. Nothing to gain with the rest of the teams out there, respect SC, but would not want to see them get in the NC game...which is where Texas will be when it is all said and done! GWPFFL BrianW
As an Iowa fan, I've always been one to say, bring on whoever. I feel Iowa's defense is good enough to give anyone a game save for the cream of the crop teams at the top of the BCS. The offense? We got Shonn Greene, and thats about it. If he can run the ball effectively, I like Iowa's chances. A win this week against the Gophers, and new years day looks like a serious possibility for Iowa, which means an SEC showdown. BS Miscreant
As a USF fan I can only hope they lose their last two and don't get invited to a bowl because if they do I might be compelled to watch it. The way they are playing right now I don't want to watch them play anyone let alone a higher ranked team. As a Sooner fan for my whole life prior to the recent, decent years of my alma mater (Go Bulls) I have to unfortunately declare that I have a hard time talking them up on this particular board anymore. Bonedaddies
Who are you rooting for this weekend OK or TT? I am pulling for a tight game where OU does not dominate and maybe some sloppy play, where voter do not think..."man TT or OU is just awsome" there needs to be some doubt......in the meantime, I will be pulling for UT to beat A &M by about 40..... I still do not know what is best for a chance of UT getting in, I do not want to have to rely on Mizzou beating OU/TT or Bama losing to Auburn, then beating UF.....longshot at best. Perfect world OU wins a close one, then gets beat by Okie St. and Tech and Mizzou play a close game or Mizzou wins the BIG 12 championship and Texas holds off TT in the standings to face Bama/UF winner. sacosud
I would like to play USC (ROSE) not going to happen, but I can wish. I think Oklahoma would be a game I would like too see. Stoops vs Tress 2 Ohio guys in a cool matchup. (this also not going to happen) Alabama would be next. I just don't see them going all the way without a loss, but this won't happen as well because Bama is BCS bound I think. The Gators. We all know why. (Not going to happen) LSU see above. ( I do think this is more possible than all the others above.) Georgia: Just because I think this is the matchup if we go against a SEC school and if we can't get a Rose rematch I think a SEC school is most likely OSU opponet. I think right now in my mind. OSU vs Georgia in Capital One/Outback bowl is most likely. USC and Oklahoma would be my 2 favs. Good Thread here.

policyvote
Michigan State is currently sitting at #15 . . . I'd belly up to the bar against . . . #14 BYU?? Outside of maybe Mizzou, I'm not sure there's anyone I'd put us up against and feel confident about . . . hoping we pull off the big win tomorrow, though. Oh, and if the Oregon State Beavers wanna go ahead and lose to Arizona, that would be great. KTHX. BeeR
Never happen (at least I hope not) but PSU vs Bama. Great old rivalry, sort of, at least bowl-wise, and 2 teams that tend to be similar.
Rockerbraves
A win this week against the Gophers, and new years day looks like a serious possibility for Iowa, which means an SEC showdown. Despite the nice win Saturday would think Iowa still needs to have the Bucks to get a BCS bowl if they hope to play on New Year's day. See your Hawkeyes playing in the Dec 27th Champs Sports Bowl vs middle of the pack ACC team.

See your Hawkeyes playing in the Dec 27th Champs Sports Bowl vs middle of the pack ACC team. Yeah I saw that too. We'll see though. I've read reports that the Outback Bowl REALLY wants Iowa. Pretty obvious to me, that RIGHT now Iowa is the 3rd best Big Ten team, but Iowa has no one to blame but themselves. The losses to Michigan State and Northwestern were unfortunate, so if Iowa doesn't play on New Years, they can't blame anyone but themselves. Going to need some Duck help. I do not think OSU ends up in a BCS without a Beaver loss.
