Curious...How many of your draft picks...?

Varies a lot because I have a lot of teams. In one I have my top 6 picks but dropped Derek Anderson(my 7th) for Quinn. Have 10 of my top 11 picks, but have never gotten a good TE so that has been my top waiver move. Some of these rarely start though.

Top 14 picks.

1.06 6. Portis, Clinton WAS RB

2.07 19. Colston, Marques NOS WR

3.06 30. Turner, Michael ATL RB

4.07 43. Burress, Plaxico NYG WR

5.06 54. Forte, Matt CHI RB

6.07 67. Bowe, Dwayne KCC WR

7.06 78. Anderson, Derek CLE QB

8.07 91. Driver, Donald GBP WR

9.06 102. Williams, Ricky MIA RB

10.07 115. Washington, Leon NYJ RB

11.06 126. Rodgers, Aaron GBP QB

12.07 139. Smith, L.J. PHI TE

13.06 150. Thomas, Pierre NOS RB

14.07 163. Ravens, Baltimore BAL Def

With trades and waivers, 5 out of 14 from my draft. But. At one point I had gotten so hasty with drops that I had only 3. I had dropped DeAngelo Williams and LenDale White, both of whom I had originally drafted. I picked both back up. I had early waiver picks because of my low YTD total. I've managed a 5-6 record and now a weekly top score for Week 11. With the parity in our league, I can still contend for a playoff spot but probably have to win out the next 3 regular season games (Week 12-14). I think I have a reasonable chance of doing that. It's a 10-team league and 4 playoff spots. I would currently be ranked 6th, and the 5th place team has the same record but is ahead on the YTD points tiebreaker by about 40 points.

Been in several leagues where all the strong teams that year were in one division and another division had all teams struggling to get a division title with a mediocre record.

Story of my fantasy football season this year. I have decent to good teams in several leagues, but have somehow ended up in the toughest divisions in most leagues.

9 Original players I drafted are still on my squad in my main money local (was 10, but I just dropped Schaub for Hill). I have the highest points total, but I am 2nd in my division and tied for 3rd best league record with 7-4 (lost my first two weeks when Brady couldn't throw to Moss and S. Smith was still suspended).

9 out of 16 players I drafted are still on the roster.

I have the top record (8-3) and the top scoring avg. in the league.

All of my principles are still intact; most of my drops are due to bye week & injury churn.

4 of original 15 drafted.

This is my first year in FF, and I didn't have a great draft (mainly because I didn't do enough research regarding my league rules/scoring). BUT, (with advice from the Huddle) I had some good late round steals that allowed me to transform my roster. Bought low on LT and had some timely WW pickups that I used to trade up after a good game or two. Lots of deals where I got 1 player for 2. I am now 7-4 and in a 3-way tie for first place (but third due to points).

13 out of 14 still left. I only play in one league each year. A local $$$ league. We only get one transaction each week with order determined by league record and points YTD ( I hate the format).

13.05 - Patrick Willis

Wow. In one of my IDP leagues, he's 2nd only to Jerome Harrison. In the other he's #1.

Yeah, I hated to see him go, but injuries left me with no room during his bye week and someone else grabbed him ahead of me afterward.

I've been doing alright platooning Lamar Woodley & Josh Wilson, though.

Loaf, just a question, Im not being a jerk.......isnt it impossible to have 4 1st place teams be 5-6 and everyone else have a worse record?

That is impossible. If the top records were 5-6, everyone else would have to be 5-6 or worse, which is an impossibility since all records would need to add up to the same number of wins and losses (with ties being broken up as 1/2 win and 1/2 loss each) and with all teams having more losses than wins this can't be true.

How about only 5 of 14 picks, and still second in the league at 8-3 as well as high scorer? On top of that, I haven't played the Chicago D or Housh in a few weeks and played Addai for the first time since Week 5 just last Sunday. Thank God for finicky owners dropping studs (Thomas Jones) and being very good on the waiver wire this year (Steve Slaton, Owen Daniels, Tennessee D, Eddie Royal).

2 Joseph Addai, Ind Game Over

19 Drew Brees, NO Game Over

22 T.J. Houshmandzadeh, Cin Game Over

39 Roy E. Williams, Dal Game Over

42 Carson Palmer, Cin Game Over

59 Marvin Harrison, Ind Game Over

62 Kellen Winslow, Cle Game Over

79 Rudi Johnson, Det Game Over

82 Dwayne Bowe, KC Game Over

99 Kevin Smith, Det Game Over

102 Bears D/ST, Chi Game Over

119 DeAngelo Williams, Car Game Over

122 Derrick Mason, Bal Game Over

139 Neil Rackers, Ari Game Over

there's 5 teams in each division. In one division, there's 4 teams at 5-6 and one at 4-7.
