scottyjets
Morris: 14 carries for 103 yards 3 receptions for 10 yards and a TD Jones: 2 carries for 21 yards Injury? Changing of the guard? I've had MM stashed on my IR since week 6 or so. I'm licking my chops at potentially dressing him for my semi-finals against St. Louis week 15. barrett14
I dropped Jones for Morris out of anger.
detlef
Who says Parker is back? Dude got hurt again on Thursday. At some point, you've got to think that Pitt stops screwing around with him and just goes with Moore. That said, Morris seems like a fine pick-up as well. Seahawks21
Neither can be counted on whatsoever. Morris will most likely do absolutely nothing next week.

scottyjets
Any comments from Holmgren? Any indication that they might go with Morris as the main man going forward?
bushwacked
Any comments from Holmgren? Any indication that they might go with Morris as the main man going forward? I wouldn't read too much into this, Holmgren seems to be using Morris and Jones on a whim. A couple weeks ago I thought Morris might be getting phased out, now this week. I can't understand why Jones isn't getting 66% of the carries.
MrTed46
I can't understand why Jones isn't getting 66% of the carries. Ask any Cowboy fan
bushwacked
Ask any Cowboy fan Marion Barber may not be in the Adrian Peterson/Ladanian Tomilson category; but he isn't far from that. Not being as good as Marion Barber doesn't mean you aren't a good RB. Julius Jones is the exact opposite from what I've heard from most Cowboy fans, the Seattle running game was most effective when Morris was injured and Jones was getting 20-25 carries a game. And until our offense completely blew up from injuries, Jones was amongst the NFC rushing leaders.
scottyjets
Julius Jones to start vs. Cowboys By Scott M. Johnson Herald Writer RENTON -- Running back Julius Jones will get a chance to exact revenge on the team that let him go. Seattle Seahawks coach Mike Holmgren said Wednesday that Jones will start Thursday against the Dallas Cowboys, even though Maurice Morris had 103 yards on Sunday. Holmgren said that Jones's history with the Cowboys was a factor in naming him the starter. "I think it's the fair thing to do," Holmgren said. "No one should read any more into it than that." Jones played his first four NFL seasons with Dallas before the Cowboys let him go in free agency last spring.
