Avernus
if SJax, Pace and Bulger return this Sunday, is this a sign that Haslett is actually lobbying for his job? When they all automatically sat for last weeks game and then return this week, I'd think he's trying for that last 5 game run where he finishes 3-2 or something... winning two in a row against Seattle and SF and playing the Falcons in a tough game, but losing... I'm hoping this is his mentality as a Jackson owner ...and honestly, I only need 1 more win...I need him for the playoffs instead of playing either Rhodes or Stewart at RB2.. STL Fan
This team is over. Period. They said Bulger was knocked out of the game by a concussion, I'm not sure I buy it. The hit was not that big and after a short trip to the locker room he was on the bench in uniform the rest of the game. Haslett made such a big deal out of the fact that Bulger was his guy all week, he may be using this as a way to quietly bench him. No links, no sources, just my gut as a fan who has watched every down of this sometimes sorry-azz team since they moved here in 1995. I also think Jackson sees the ineptitude of this O-line and coaching staff and may be unwilling to risk his leg when there is zero chance for success. Yesterday in his post-game Haslett actually sid he thought the team's effort was good and that it is clear that these guys are competing, they're just suffering from a lack of execution. In the last 4 games, they have been outscored in the first half 99-6. But that's just a lack of execution. Brings to mind the famous quote - "Coach, what do you think of your team's execution?" The coach replied "I'm all for it."

Bulger just needs to be healthy to play well, he can't play well hurt....so if he's not close to healthy this week, I don't imagine him playing.. tazinib1
I wouldn't be at all upset if the Rams go 0-5 the rest of the way. Fire Haslett (can't stand him...he is a sorry HC) and secure a top draft pick. From a FF perspective, I don't have much hope for any of the them for the playoff stretch. Sorry S-Jax owners. STL Fan
Hate to say it but last Sunday was the first time I've ever walked out at halftime. 4:25 left in the third quarter, after Green's 4th pick.
