CBowden1220
Last week of the regular season in my primary 14 team league. Top 6 makes the playoffs, Top 2 gets a bye. As of today, only two teams have clinched the playoffs, and only one of those has clinched a bye. Teams 3 through 9 all have a legitimate chance of making the playoffs, and team 10 is not mathematically out, although he would have to both win and make up 90-100 points to win the total points tiebreaker. Fun league.
Jrick35
We have 4 divisions in 2 conferences each division has 3 teams in it. We send the 4 Division winners and the best 2nd place winner from each conference to the playoffs. Now 5 teams have been eliminated from post season play but the only thing decided about the playoffs going into the last week of the regular season is 2 of the divisons have been won. The other two divisions, both wild cards and both byes are still waiting to be decided. And through the wizardry of scheduling the 1st & 2nd place teams in both of the undecided divisions actually play each other this week. We are in for a very exciting week of FF. Vet
This has been a year of unprecedented parity in our league. This is our 25th year, and we've never had this kind of parity. And this is a dynasty league! We usually have one or two teams who are running away with it by now. This year, we have four 5-win teams that still have a chance at the playoffs. Point differentials between first and last place have never been this close. There just haven't been many dominant players this year from a fantasy perspective. So, if you have relatively knowlegable owners, you probably have a pretty tight race in your league right now. It's all good. We've had years where the top 4 teams are clear by week 8. This year just happens to be wide open...I get the sense that's the case in a lot of fantasy leagues. Riffraff
14 team league. 6 make the play-offs. - 3 have clinched with an 8-4 record. But only clinched yesterday. - The current #1 team is also at 8-4. It is the highest scoring team in the league. It has not clinched. - 6 more teams have a legitimate chance at the final 3 spots. Half the spots with 1 week to play. - a team ending with an 8-5 record may not make the play-offs. Week 13 will be a fun one. Ralph Furley
My main league is going to have a pretty crazy ending as well. There isn't a single team that has clinched a playoff berth yet. We have 3 teams with a 7-5 record, 7 teams with a 6-6 record, 1 team at 5-7, and 1 team at 4-8. Six of the 6-6 teams are playing each other as well. It should be a fun week! montster
my main money league is 14 teams, six make the playoffs. top two are 8-4 and have clinched, but both first-round byes are still undecided. four teams are 7-5 (including me), four more are 6-6, so, in all, 10 teams are still in the playoff hunt. this is always a very competitive league, but in the four years i've been in it, this is the closest the teams have been. alchico
12 team, BOTH - Huddle Old Timers League. 6 teams make the playoffs - One team is 9-3 and the next 5 teams are all 7-5. We start our playoffs this week because this is a 4 league event and the league champs play each other week 16 for the Ultimate Title. 9 teams were still in it going into last weekends games. Ursa Majoris
Huddlers Refuge has nine of twelve teams with .500 or losing records. Mathematically, I believe every team is still in with a shot of the playoffs even though we only send 4 teams to playoffs from a 14 week regular season. Parity of a kind...... Outshined
I am in a 16 team league where 13 of the 16 teams or in or still alive. I was 8-2 and was running away with the point title and conference title (prior to the postseason, best record gets 50 and high points gets 50 for $100 ttl) and my team laid down the last two weeks. Now two other teams are tied with me, I don't have the tie breaker and my point lead is almost nothing. :/rantover:
kpholmes
BOTH League "AFL" is a Twelve Team Dynasty. We only have 3 teams under .
CrazyOne
10-team redraft, 4 playoff spots, 9 teams are still in the hunt with two weeks to go (playoffs in 15 & 16). Granted, some are better positioned than others. Two divisions, one team has clinched the one division title at 9-3, with the next 3 teams there 5-7 and one 4-8. In the other division, 3 teams are at 7-5, one at 6-6 and one at 5-7. Only that 4-8 guy is really out of it. Since the wild card teams can come from either division, clearly the 7-5 guys have an inside track, but some of them have to play each other in the next two weeks. The seeding and perhaps even that second division title will probably be decided by the tie breaker, YTD points, which is very close among these teams. This is the closest I've ever seen it, for sure.
xMRogers
Like above - 10 team redraft, 4 playoff spots. Last year at this time, all four were clinched or almost clinched (and ended up clinched this week making week 14 meaningless). This year, some parity, but mostly for one spot 1 9-3 team clinched playoff spot (1,2 or 3 seed) 2 8-4 teams including me - neither has clinched, but one will definitely get in (and probably both) Then it's fun - 2 6-6 teams - if both win out, one of the 8-4's could get knocked out. After that, 4 5-7 teams - so really looks like 6 teams battling for the 4th spot most llikely. Definitely won't be decided till week 14 and could end up with as much as a 6 way tie at 7-7 it appears as the matchups seem to allow that
