tazinib1
He had a flat line this week. Did I miss something?
kpholmes
I started him too... He was in playing over center, Denver just ran off tackle the whole game and he couldn't get there.
tazinib1
Ok good as long as he isn't injured. I have no other options for this week. Ugh.
kpholmes
If you can find a better option... I would. Kelly didn't play well against the Chiefs earlier in the season, and Herm has demonstrated he is even more willing to lean on the pass now. Kelly accumulates his tackles on runs inside the tackles, he doesn't score well against pass-heavy teams.
tazinib1
Ugh...not sure if I can get somebody to fill his spot but I sure will try. Thanks for that info. Playoffs are on the line.
kpholmes
After looking at Kelly's numbers some more, let me clarify; Kelly plays well in running situations. (Rather than against run heavy teams as I said earlier) Most teams he's played well against this season took an early lead and ran the ball to finish the game out, which is what we did not see happening in Denver. So if you think the Chiefs can take an early lead and run the ball, play him.
