Furd
A local bar has been featuring craft beers brewed by small Italian breweries. I haven't taken any notes, but some of them are pretty interesting. One was an IPA style that was like drinking liquified hops, at 12% alcohol. Another was spiced (nutmeg maybe) like a seasonal beer. Cool bottles too. So if you're looking for something different, give them a try.

policyvote
Well it doesn't come in a big fancy bottle, but Moretti's La Rossa is damn fine stuff. An italian-american joint near where I work always hooks me up with a frosty mug full o' this stuff and it's great with their typical flavors (tomato, basil, pasta, beef, etc.). ETA: Oh, it's a doppelbock. No wonder I like it. Peace policy Edited November 25, 2008 by policyvote
