SEC=UGA
I'm extremely agitated today. I knew at the outset of the season that UGA was not going to end the season as the #1 team in the nation and at times had reservations regarding their inclusion in the top ten, but to have ended the season with 3 losses and having played in many others that were entirely too close has me feeling that something has to change. First, I am looking forward to Matt Stafford entering the draft. He is beyond inadequate, especially considering all the hype that surrounds him. Second, there needs to be a serious change in attitude on this team. On too many occassions this season and in seasons past this squad comes out absolutely flat and puts themselves out of games. Tennessee last year, UF every year, Bama this year, Vandy last year, etc... I blame this on coaching, more specifically, head coaching and am not quite convinced Richt needs to go, but am contemplating that option. Third, we have too much raw talent on defense to give up 400 yards to any team. Willie Martinez needs to go, his pink slip should be issued on Monday. Fourth, this team is too undisciplined and game management is inept. We are the second most penalized team in the nation, pathetic. This team is disorganized and is often going into tight games at the end of the 4th quarter with 1 or no timeouts, inexciusable. The more I think about it, the more apparent it becomes that there are major issues at the top of this organization. I truly believe that the talent level of the players is what has won 80% of the games during the Richt era and that his skills at coaching account for about 20% of the wins (and 100% of the losses). I am writing this after an extremely embarassing and painful loss to Tech, after a complete collapse on both sides of the ball in the 3rd qtr and defensively in the 4th, and may be rushing to judgment. But, fuc k it, to lose in such a manner to Tech, as well as UF and Bama, is absowhen I wore my first dressinglutley unwhen I wore my first dressingacceptable. sacosud
It was a fun game to watch and I can hear your pain. I could not understand how Georgia kept losing contain on the outside and the linebackers and saftey kept taking really poor angles and some poor tackling did not help. Stafford is a lot better than your giving him credit for and just like I have said about my own team in the past, if you score 42 than you should win. Moreno is a stud and is going to be a great back for your Dawgs. Massquai or however you spell his name had a incredible game. This loss was on the defensive team and coaching staff. You have to give credit to GT for coming back and scoring 23 unanswered points. That my friend is never giving up and a defense assuming they have the game wrapped up. Where does Georgia end up now???? Capital One or Outback???

Where does Georgia end up now???? Capital One or Outback??? My biggest complaint on Stafford is his inability to throw the ball accurately over 25 yards, he can't do it. That and he doesn't "see" defenders that can intercept his throws. I believe Moreno will enter the draft. Masaquoi showed up big all season, I'm proud of him. I'm thinking capital one bowl after the loss. Would loved to have gone to the outback, but don't think it will happen.
sacosud
Capital One is the higher bid.
Sgt Ryan
And this is FLA;s best win to date, and GA is surely to drop with a 3rd loss and counting.
sacosud
Sorry Sgt. Flordia is looking like a top 3 team. The winner of SEC should play Texas for the National Championship.

Top 3 is right, right behind OU and Texas. FLA at best should be #3, if they can beat Bama, if they cant, they dont deserve to be in the top 8. Hey, homo, go spew your crap in some other thread about your team losing games that they should win. Or, better yet, put down the keyboard and go jerk off to your bosworth poster in your bedroom. theprofessor
agreed You and Sarge need to wake TFU if you think Texas and Oklahoma deserve to be ahead of Alabama in the polls. Play some defense and then we'll talk!
