BeeR
I have what I think is one of the most impressive ever: in a competitive league where scores were typically something like 80-70, I had a shut-out. No he didn't forget to submit a lineup or purposely screw up, in fact we didn't even subtract pts for the D you played against......it was just one of those rare combos of players having a bad game, some guys got knocked out early, etc. Also just now we have a guy about to lose by over 100 pts (scores are typically in the 90s more or less). Also if one guy wins his playoff game he will be in the big dance 4 yrs running, and this is a pretty competitive league.
DMD
I have seen the highest scoring team be in last place at the end of the season. Much as I hate to admit it, one year long ago I saw Whitney win I think his final nine straight games to win the championship at work. He was maybe 2-6 or 3-5 before going on a streak. We always think "if I only win all my games I can get to the playoffs". I saw Whitney do it once in a ridiculous fashion.

satelliteoflovegm
The first year of my re-draft league in 2003 one team finished the regular season 7-7 and went on to win the league championship against me. He did not make one single waiver move, add/drop, or trade the entire year. His draft day roster was his championship roster player for player. Being 7-7 he obviously wasn't blowing teams out but he was just plugging along with what he had.
CaP'N GRuNGe
Finished as high points leader and an all-play record of 114-39-1 (.744). Missed the playoffs with a 6-7-1 record.

policyvote
Back in '99, in an old local, there was only one drop/add period and it was after week six. A decent-scoring team had had some rough beats and early injuries, and was 0-6. He had first priority, got Kurt Warner, got healthy, ran the table, and won the title. xMRogers
Craziest thing ever in my league was a guy started 0-3, then won 11 straight plus the playoffs, so 13 in a row and a SB championiship after starting 0-3....then, the next season (complete redraft), sets the record by going 14-0, so 27 straight over two seasons...then craps out in the playoffs and loses both finishing 4th. Considering in 13 years we've only had one other team go 13-1 and two go 12-2, for him to have an 11-3 then a 14-0, and 27 straight is wild (especially since over the other 10 years he played (dropped out this year) he was below 500)
Tford
The 8 seed has beaten the 1 seed in my local in 7 out of the last 8 years. Happened again last week. One seed was 12-1, 2nd highest point total in the league and lost to the 8 seed who was 6-7.
MrTed46
In one of my locals last year, the average scoring is about 85-90, someone had Randy Moss and Brady and a solid all around team and scored close to 300 points. I don't think that will ever happen in that league again. He lost in the 1st playoff game he played because Randy and Brady put up a stinker. I was thinking about this - how the heck did someone score zero - love to see his lineup. Our avg scoring is a bit more (in the 90s) and our lowest ever in 13 years is 35 pts, so to see a zero would be impressive Edited December 9, 2008 by xMRogers
Jrick35
I remember this one year when a team in my league was 1-3 after 4 weeks and then made 3 trades and won 9 straight to finish 10-3 and get the 1st rd bye into the playoffs. Not sure how it ended yet, I will let you know how I do this week?
ts
Many years ago in my local (when it was TD-only, before Al Gore invented the internet) we had a guy win big in week #1 ... something like 65-6 ... and then proceed to lose the remaining 13 regular season games, even though he tried his best all season long. Just to cap off the year, he got trounced in the Bozo Bowl playoff game, to wrap up with 14 straight losses. Somewhat Lion-esque I guess. ABearWithFurniture
BOTH league I commish has 12 teams with 3 divisions. One division this year ended up with a 4 way tie all at 7-7. The team that won it was 6-0 within the division but only beat 1 other team outside the division during the season...never seen that one before.
