CaptainHook
We gotta discuss this guy. He has been unreal the last couple months. I actually picked him up off waivers when another owner dropped him after his 10 rushes for 27 yards against the Vikes in Week 3 and his 16 rushes for 57 yards in Week 4 against the Falcons. He rode my bench until Week 7 and has been a STUD since. I hesitated to start him against TB last night, but wow!

If he continues to shine, I have a great shot at taking it all. I too have picked him up from the WW in week 4.
Caveman_Nick
Who was it here in pre-season that kept arguing that Coach Fox would give DWill the chance he needed cuz Fox favors veterans?
Caveman_Nick
no no, it was me under my other Huddle Screen Name -- http://forums.thehuddle.com/index.php?show...illiams+stewart I recall telling people to temper expectations because Stewart was the rookie in this equation. We can both be right in this situation
Henry Muto
I am so glad I traded AWAY D-Williams, Gore and 3 future 1st round picks to GET LT and Gates back in 2006 in my dynasty league...that worked out really well. I am also happy that I drafted D-Williams in 9 leagues in 2006 and 2007 as I had high hopes for him only to give up on him this year and only draft him in 2 leagues out of 27. Hat Trick
I am mad that I only drafted him in one league! I like to deversify my teams, this year I did that well and was successful, but if I had just stuck to my thoughts on a few guys I would be having an even better season. Back on topic. I am saying right now, this is and will be the best 1-2 punch in the league next year. You will have to draft both of them higher than you would like and wait (I don't wish injury on anyone) for one of them to get hurt and then you have an absolute stud. I still say the success has more to do with the young Oline gelling now in the midseason than it is that Williams and Stewart are just showing off what they can do. juiceman
I remember when Williams was a rookie, there were huge expectations for him to run crazy. It didnt happen. Many reasons, probably Fox and veterans (Foster) and Williams learning to pick up blitzes properly. Now he has matured, the O line is a good running line. He has a bash brother so defenses get worn down. He is playing with huge confidence too, which really helps. He is looking to bust a big run every time he gets it (which I love) but he also heads downhill so he doesnt piss off coaches either. I just hope he keeps it up all season. But conclusion is I heart symbol this guy period. Great player to have.

I am sure glad that Ray Rice was taken in the 4th round and I decided on Witten in the 4th and D. Wiliiams in the 5th during our OUTRAGED draft. I am also glad I took Stewart at 1.02 instead of Mendenhall Edited December 12, 2008 by T_bone65
The Vatican Hitsquad
This is what you would call, "Committing Henry Muto". Seriously, this is a common theme in Muto postings... players he benched, players he dropped... Can we refer this act in the future as a "Muto?" Ex: I had my lineup all set, then I totally Muto'd DW 5 minutes before kickoff"

The Irish Doggy
OUTRAGED Mendenhall My only consolation is that I was right about Not-as-Fast-or-Durable Willie Parker. Edited December 12, 2008 by The Irish Doggy
T_bone65
My only consolation is that I was right about Not-as-Fast-or-Durable Willie Parker. I was seriously considering keeping FWP and drafting Mendenhall, glad I rethought that, it just cost me a 6th round pick
